Brrr it's so darn cold.  29 degrees, feels like 22 here, I HATE cold weather; let me repeat this I HATE COLD WEATHER.

Good Morning!  I've been up since 3:15, some stranger was ringing my doorbell and knocking on the door, needless to say I didn't answer.  The dog was barking like crazy.  At 3:40 a cop pulls in my driveway, a neighbor called because the barking was keeping them awake, HELLO if you had a stranger in your yard your dog would bark too.  I finally got her quiet.

Work is super busy, end of year stuff must get done so we can close our books.  I'm having a talk with my super today about the quantity of work I have and the time it's taking with the new software to complete it.  This software has it's perks but it is also all consuming.  Not sure how long I can keep up with the work load.  I'm gettin further behind instead of getting ahead.

Prayers being said for all in need.  We still haven't heard anything on Blane's job, he heard he wouldn't be affected.  Hoping that's the case.

Well better get my munchkins up this morning and moving.  I'm throwing their uniforms in the dryer so it'll be warm, haha.

That's just crazy what happened at your house last night.  Hope you told the cops about the man in your yard/at your door.  Idiot neighbors...  I can't stand ppl who call the police over stupid crap like a dog barking.  Jerks...  Anyway....

Not sure what's going on about Blane's job, but hope it turns out okay.  Same with your talk with your supervisor.  I know that will work out though.  You are an awesome employee!!

Love and hugs...and MORE COFFEE!!!!  I'm drinking a pot of Gevalia German Chocolate Cake coffee this morning and loving every minute of it.  It's DELISH!!!

Good morning.  I have to go back to work today...looking forward to MLK holiday in a couple of weeks and Spring Break already!  I have my lunch and drinks packed to get back to basics.  Ben is going to Aggieland today to meet with a psychology professor to get into the psychology program as his major.  He should get to add a psych. class to his schedule once they approve him.  I have a diagnosticians meeting first thing this morning.  Fun, Fun, fun!

Karla, what does Ben plan to do with a Psych degree?  Hailey originally wanted to do that but when we looked there were no jobs for anyone with a 4 year psych degree.  Everything required a masters or PHD. We even spoke with them at school about it and they agreed with us. Just a thought...

There is a saying - what do you get with a bachelors in psych? Into grad school!

I'm soooo with you on the next vacation days!!  MLK day is Matthew's 16th birthday so that will be a fun day at our house.  :)  Spring Break will hopefully mean another trip to FL for the NJROTC National Drill Competition.  I'm going along either as a chaperone or on my own as a parent who wants to watch her darling son compete.  So, definitely looking forward to both of those times.  :)

I just cant believe its gonna get so cold here this week -  I'm not looking forward to it at all.....................can they close the office for  "TOO COLD TO FUNCTION"  WEATHER?     HEHEHEHE          I tried !!  lol           REminds me of when I was growing up in NOrth DAkota - the only thing was - I was a KID and could have cared less !! 

Not much planned for today -  including the eating plan - not a good thing........I know......
I am gonna get out for lunch today and go to Boston Market so that I can get a decent meal with meat.............some quality and veggies too.....

Today is Tuesday - I need to get some excercise in today...........it is so hard for me to leave my desk during the day when I'm having a productive day - I had to break it up when things are going well.

Brother is warming up the car for me - so I guess I better it going............

WOW _...............Cita FL.............it is 29 degrees  EVEN IN FLORIDA !!  HOlding steady at 29 degrees (just outside of Orland)...................28 is the magic temp to harm the oranges........I never knew that.............

TEXTING..............well - I'm trying to get with it............not suppose to have cell phones on desk at either job, so alot of the time I leave in my purse and don't see the texts on a timely manner.........so  IF YOU TEXT ME AND I DIDN'T RESPOND ON A TIMELY BASIS.........SORRY - but I will when I can and I see it !!

Morning Phyllis!!!  I hear ya on the cold.  I am soooo not enjoying it.  I can't wait for summer and warm weather. Have a great day and try to stay warm!!!

Texting...I do it a LOT.  We have a family plan with 1500 anytime minutes split by 4 people.  Doesn't sounds like a lot, but my husband uses the bulk of them.  The kids and I text.  DD had 9780 last month, DS and I each had about 4000.  My husband had less than 1000 texts but he used almost 1200 minutes.  I told him you know you talk too much when you're on the phone more than a teenage girl.  lol  :)  I much prefer texts over voicemail and so many times, especially during work or school, I can't answer a call but I can quietly check a text and sometimes even respond.  Where as taking a call can be much harder, and checking VM may not be till I'm home and done.

I don't know about ya'll but my email box the last 2 days is full of tips to kick off the new year.  (I get lots of newsletters)  They are kind of making me feel unprepared.  I think I'm doing pretty god though.  I started getting organized at home yesterday...receipts, tax stuff, school stuff, medical stuff and now have plans to clean some closets this week.  I tend to do more of this in Jan/Feb than in the spring like some folks.  Anyway...got my pantry, freezer and fridge all clean finally.  Now I'm ready to get my grocery ads and do some meal planning and stocking up of good, healthy, nutritious foods.  Found several new websites thanks to some of my new newsletters and OHers who contributed to the recipe thread last week.  That should keep it fresh and asty for the family too.
