OT - Accounting Job

Happy New Year to everyone!

I have been wanting to post this for awhile now but did not want to bother anyone.  I lost my job about 2 months due to the company downsizing.  I am receiving u/e benefits but am having no luck finding a new job.  Have only been on 2 interviews and did not have enough experience for either job.

I am looking for an accounting position.  I have over 10 years of accounting experience and worked at a bank for 17 years.  Am looking to stay on the north side of Houston or go back downtown.

I am not in Houston but understand being an Accounting person and without a position.  Try registering with Robert Half and Assoc (they are also Accountemps).  They are the only temp service that I have felt did me justice and helped me find employment.  They also offer medical benefits and other things when you have been there a while.

Thank you so much for responding.  I have already registered with RHI.  Seems like everything they have posted right now I am not qualified for.  There are so many people looking for a job right now that they can be picky and require certain accounting experience.
