Saturday WLS Express- now that the fun is over
Goals for 2010
1. Spend more time with family and friends
2. Get my family more active.... too many computer nerds in this house!!!
3. Keep up with my WLS blog/journal daily
4. Photo a day 365... take a photo everyday to document my year
It feels good to finally have all the Christmas stuff down and packed!!! A sign that things are returning to normal! (whatever that is) I have enjoyed having my dad here this past week and sorry to see him go home tomorrow!!!
Yesterday I started a WLS blog so I can journal everyday. Someone gave Donna a copy of Winning after losing... by Stacey Halprin and she suggests that you journal everyday to help keep you focused. Not sure how long I can keep up with it but going to try... maintenance scares the hell out of me!!! Never ever been able to maintain a weight loss.... but then I didn't have my tool then either!!!
Off to finish working in the garage and attic this today... fun, fun!!
Prayers and hugs to all who need them today!!!

I've felt really negative the past week or two. Unsure exactly why but I need to find my good attitude and go forward. Lots of stress with work and financial uncertainty but I need to let that go and just make it happen. Whatever it takes, we will survive.

Non-WLS....I have several quilts in the works I'm going to finish before I can start another. Also have quilt a few article of clothing I want to add some embroidery to. Nothing really elaborate, just a little something to spice up boring plane T-shirts/tops and jackets.
Another promise is to re-do my kitchen. We can't afford a full remodel but I want to clean out all the cabinets and the pantry and re-arrange where things go. I inherited this house in 1984 when my patents died, I was 28, and everything is in the same place Mother originally had them! I guess it's taken me this long to consider it MY house! LOL! I've definitely lived in it longer than they did. Anyway, that's my winter plan to do all this before the weather gets hot. Funny....ya'll keep telling me my thermostat will change but it hasn't changed yet so in my mind everything is still scheduled around the hot summer!
Good Morning to my chosen family. I'm at work and actually able to get online for a few minutes. My "plan" for the New Year involves finances. We're doing OK, with no credit card debt but I do have a lot of student loans that I'd like to make a bigger dent in. So I ordered some Dave Ramsey books and workbooks to help me work out a budget. I'm thinking about doing a "cash only" system. I fritter away a LOT of money and I bet that would really help me see where I spend most of my money.
I'm off Monday and Tuesday so hopefully I'll make it to a travel agency and get some cruise info for us. I've already got that money allocated so I don't have to budget for it when I start my new system, lol.
Came into work this morning to find new memos regarding cell phone and internet use. UGH, my bosses are really taking all the joy out of working here. I'm so sick of constantly being yelled at for common sense stuff. We are not even allowed to carry our phones with us even if they are turned to silent. Those with kids are very upset. Anyway, on the weekend there are no bosses so we all have our phones today AND I'm on the internet...what a rebel!!

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.
- Total Lost: 139 lbs
- Current Weight: 263
- As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.
- RNY: 10-16-07 = 338: Highest weight: 350+ Lowest Weight: 199
My plan for this year:
#1) WLS Related ? Just try a little harder......................on everything, eating better and most importantly - GET EXCERCISE AT LEAST 3 TIMES IN every week.....
#2) Take care of personal stuff before things "blow out of proportion" I tend to work to run away and hide because when I'm at work.............I don't need to deal with it..............I have to stay focused at work........so taking care of personal things at work is out of the question..............
#3) Get into contact with some of my 1983 (North Dakota) friends.......from highschool..........(good start already - found 5 classmates out of 16.... and contacted them through FAcebook in the last 3 months and 3 of those within the last 24 hours !! lol
Thats all I can think of right now
