Jumpstart January BTB Saturday
Yesterday (Saturday for me was better...more protein and liquids and such) But I am with Steph gotta purge the house of that that needs to go away!!!!! So the plan is to take that all to wowrk tomorrow!!!! (just can not seem to throw food away either Paige)
Today I have some meals I am cooking freezing for myself and I will be back to my plan and routine Monday am. I will have my meals all counted out and ready for lunches. I have my journal all ready that Paige mentioned though for me it is not quite maintenance. I have held this weight for 1 1/2 which is good and I have tried to be happy with that. But I have set a goal for myself and decided that I want to lose 40 more pounds ultimatly. And I want to at least be half there by May (all would be fabulous but I am being realistic) It is nice to know that I can maintain but time to hunker down and accomplish what I originally set out to do.
Don't get me wrong, I am comforatable where I have been and confident that though there were some ups and then some downs (meaning the scale) I have maintained for a year and a half now. that is great!!! I just realy want to get to that original goal of a healthy BMI. It should not be about the number....I know that. And I have met most of those original goals......to be able to take my kids to the park, amusement parks and ride the rides with them, Sea World and get in a wet suit and not feel like one of the whales, walk and breathe at the same time (in fact they have to keep up with me).
But I know I can do what I originally set out to do and that is this years not just goal but promise to myself. Now I know it is not going tobe as easy at the first 145lbs. My surgeon once told me that statistically with RNY a person will lose 70-80% of excess body weight and he then added he got me there. It is up to me know to work my tool, my plan, and get myself the rest of the way.
Sure for some it is easier than others. I have seen some that get well below goal and have to really work at stopping to lose weight. And I have seen others that have to work harder to get where I have come. We all loose differently, but for me I know that I really want to lose that last 40 and this is the year I want to do it in!!!
Ok there in the spirit of accountability (not one of my words of the year but should have been lol) I have put it down for all of you to see. So part of my new plan will be getting to bed on time so that I can get up early and post here in the am what my plan is for the day and post again how I did for the day. It is going to be a tough one as I have gotten in to so bad habits that are going to be hard to kick - starting with the carb monster......he has got to go!!!!
So it is definatly Jump Start January for me! And Back to the Basics I will be!!! So be ready to be sick of my posting!!! I mean it this time!!!!!
