You and your family are in my prayers. It is one of the hardest things in life, the loss of a parent. I lost my dad in 92 and my mom in 2004.
Draw your strength from your memories, conversations, pictures, etc. You will have lots of WWMD.... What would Mom do... moments.... those are painful yet comforting as well.
I also pray for the loss of your pet... that is heartbreaking too... as they are such a part of our families.
I pray your friend recovers asap and begins the journey to new health
I hope your husband is doing all that he is to do to take care of himself... both my dad and brother were/are heart patients.
You definately are carrying a heavy load.... Let the Lord carry it for you... lean on His strength.
In our prayers
Vicki

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Hang in there. Like you said, He never gives you more than you can handle and there is a plan but we don't always know what that plan is. Keep doing what you are doing, come back here to vent, cry, ask for help if you need to and know that you don't have to do this alone.
{{{{HUGS}}} and prayers for your family as you celebrate your Mom's life.

Don't say anything unkind, untrue, or unnecessary.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith ...
it is the price of love.

Im so sorry to hear about your Mom. Thats really tough to hear...i never had a relationship with my mom till this year, im 42 and i always figured when she passed it would be like any other day...i just didnt care for her...
When I had my stroke in April of this year and all the craziness with it, she has really stepped up and become a good mom and grandma...she has really helped with my RNY on 12-03-09..
I cant imagine life without her....so i am so sorry for your loss...i pray you will find strength in all you do...
