New Year's Eve WLS Express- 2010 here we come! BEEP BEEP!

I can't believe its the end of 2009 already. We have been incredibly blessed this year and I'm so so thankful to God and my family (both blood and chosen) for that. Bryan has been my biggest supporter and cheerleader as always.
I'm missing Christopher! He'll be home tomorrow though. He's having fun with my family. Last night he and my mom watched Emily while the others went tubing. He didn't want anything to do with sledding or tubing. Mom said he was a great help, esp during Emily's bath time! Yesterday I had my mom tell him he got a $25 gift card from GameStop from his uncle Kenny. He said back to her- yeah Uncle Kenny always comes through for me when it comes to video games. LOL. He's so funny!

Jenny- maybe you should change Beep to Bleep so you can sound like the Road Runner. Its much cuter. I hope your day goes well after working and that you get some sleep. Is Eric off today or working? Hope we see you tonight!!!

I hope we see everyone at LL's tonight. Liz- safe travels back today. Danni- hope you got in okay!
Deb- how is working from home going? Still good? I sure miss my work from home pilot program. It ended on the 18th but I HOPE HOPE they decide to put it in place in a few months for good.

Charlene-it was good to hear your voice the other day. I hope you are coming tonight!

Steph- does your hospital do a big thing for the first baby born in 2010?

I went to the dentist-not good news. I have to have a few root canals. I don't mind the pain that much-its the pain to the pocket book that is worse. But my teeth got shiny clean at least.

Haven't decided yet if I am doing anything tonight.   My hubby ( who is NOT social at all ) asked me last night what WE were going to do.   LOL   I know him....he will probably go to bed at 7 or 8  LOL !!!  In 33 yrs of marriage I think we have seen maybe 1 New Year come in together.    I was informed yesterday by my 28 yr old son that I am HIS deginated driver getting him home tonight.   UGH I HATE being out late on NYE !!!!  Too many drunks on the roads and I dont want one of them hitting me.   I would love to go to Loralea's party but HATE going to a party alone.   I should be use to it by now but I guess I won't ever be OK with it.   Anyway maybe I will come....not sure yet.    Anyway if I don't come I will be thinking of all the fun you guys will be having.    Have a Happy, Blessed and SAFE New Year !!!  Love ya'll

Vivian- why did your son decide you had to drive- it's your life and you don't have to do anything you don't want to do. He can take a cab.

 LOL   This is the son that lost his job with SBux.    LOL   I am about to tell him exactly what you said.   LOL   I told him I didn't want to go to a bar or club and pick him and  his drunk friends up !!!!   I am sure one of them will have to pay for his drinking....they may have to pay for a cab too.

WOOOOHOOOO for NEW YEAR'S EVE!  I'm at work but don't want to be... LOL  I never did get my Cotton Bowl Tickets sold, so since it's going to be in the new Cowboys Stadium we decided we'd just go to the game ourselves.... I can hardly wait!  LOL

Prayers are going up for all that need them, especially our Meggie...

Wow!  Another New Year's Eve!  2010!  Hard to believe but here it is!  I don't have any plans for tonight.  I'm going to stay in and then sleep in tomorrow.

Happy New Year Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Not sure where this year has gone!  I cant believe it is going to be 2010. I too am very greatful to God for all he has given me, and for always being with me through thick and thin!  I remember being a little girl thinking by the year 2000 we would be in flying cars and everything would be just like the Jetsons.  Funny how kids minds work.  No big plans for tonight.  We had thought we might go to the Dover Down town First Night..but its going to be really cold so I think we will just stay home.  We are howeve taking Eric to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  I can not remember the last time I actually saw the New Year in.  I woke up with a wicked sore throat.  I am thinking it is because I slept with my fan that sets on my night stand blowing all night.  We will see as the day goes on.  We have a busy day..need to grocery shop, and run a few errands.  Mark is home today so he said he would go with me.   Missing my boy a lot but I have to admit it was nice to sleep in my own bed last night.  While he was here most of the time I fell asleep in the bed next to him.  Ok looking forward to a wonderfull 2010. I think on Monday I am going to start the 5 day pouch test.  What better way to get back in controll?  Prayers this morning for all in need.  Those of you heading to Loralee's please be safe and have fun.  Give each other hugs from me at midnight.  Love you guys.
