Wednesday WLS Express!
I don't have any inspirational words for everyone today! Tell us what is going on in your life! Mine is the same ole' same ole'! Fighting the government and hoping to keep a job in a company that is downsizing. Trying to transfer to another agency and finding it difficult, and working with the VA to get my disability! I also need to start therapy but I've been putting it off. Not sure if I want to relive all of it right now. I know I need to, but I'm reluctant.
Glad it's a 4 day work week! My little section of the world is really behind because they didn't let us work it for about a month, but it looks like we're going to get some help. Some of the people that have only been allowed to work part time are coming back full time to work with us so it's looking up! They should have known that they couldn't do what they were doing, But it served their purposes at the time so they don't care! Anyway, hopefully things will be getting some semblance of normal soon. I'll keep you updated!
Got to get to the shower and get to work! Y'all have a great day! Love ya!

Good Morning Laura and the rest of my TMB Family,
I have been up for a couple of hours now but was spending some time with Mark before he headed off to work. It has been kind of crazy around here trying to keep a 3 year old busy. Although I would not change it for the world. There is nothing better then hugs and kisses on the cheek from a beautiful 3 year old. I am really bummed that he is going home today. It wont be the same around here. Oh well at least I know that Tim will be bringing him back in the next couple of weeks so something to look forward to. Tim and Jon are also going to be going with me when I go to Florida to visit my Mom and Dad in February. I am looking forward to that a lot. Going to have a busy day today. Mark finally took the tree out this morning so I have pine needels everywhere. Need to pack up Jon's stuff for his Mom to take. I plan to keep a lot of it here for him, or send it with Tim when it comes. She has toys galore for him. Sure wish I was going to be in Dallas for New Years. I miss you guys and feel so disconnected. We are going to go to down town Dover where all the stores are having open house, serving coffee, and hot chocolet, and having fire works at 7:00. Then we promised Eric, Texas Roadhouse for dinner. He has been great having Jon here. Never complained once. Laura, I hope things get better for you at the P.O. things sure have changed there since my Dad worked for them many years ago. Danni, when are you heading for Dallas? I thought it was today or tomorrow. I sure hope you have had fun with your family. Jenny and Eric, my prayers continue to be with you both in hopes that Eric continues to heal. Alissa, hope things are good at work. Has Chris gotten back yet? Seems to me I remember you saying he was coming back after you guys. Ok guess that is it for me. Prayers for all in need spoken or unspoken. Have a blessed day. Love you guys.
WOOOOHOOO for HUMP day on a short work week and I called it too slick to drive at 3 AM so I'm working from the couch to boot! YAHOOOO Had a week off, worked one day and then hunting for a reason to work from home the next, LOL
Prayers are going out to all that need them!
And I just couldn't resist singing this song yesterday/this morning! LOL
Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
When we finally say good night,
How I'll hate going out in the storm;
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Ya'll have a great day my friends!

I have been hit with the insomnia stick. I do believe I slept between 3:30 and 4:45, so at least it's something. I figured I might as well be productive since sleep apparently is overrated.
I worked like a crazy woman yesterday. Some say they 'washed an elephant' when they completed something, well I was the entire circus! I cooked and cleaned and recleaned the kitchen. Set up the canisters and organized the cabinets. Did all the laundry including all the bedsheets and the blankets too. Got most of the boxes covering the living room floor unpacked. Even set up my closet sometime between 1am and 3am. AND ironed all my cotton shirts and pants. Not sure what is 'wrong' with me, but I know I will be in much better shape come Monday when work comes a calling again.
Having some brekkie already. Wonder how long that will hold. I am going to load up the car with give away, throw away and boxes galore to unload elsewhere. Then it's a bank and HEB run and then take down the Christmas tree and pack it all away. Hoping to steam clean the carpets today if it's drier than it was yesterday.
Sending prayers to all in need because of 'hurt' of any kind. As our Gina says, God knows where to send them.
Blessings to the rest.

Hey Becky,
When you are all done you can come to Dover and help me then we can take some time together and relax! Man you sure manage to keep yourself busy. Not sure where you get the energy from! I dont have half that. Have a good day and remember to take some time for Becky! We all need that now and again! Hugs
The last 2 days at work have been just so "Meh". Nothing good...nothing bad...and sloooow. Plus I woke up yesterday with a headache. These next 2 days can not get over fast enough.
NYE plans are to go to a friends house. They just bought the house about 2 months ago and she is having a combined NYE party and housewarming. I need to swing by the Kitchen Store tomorrow and buy a small gift. I am not supposed to 'drink' for a few more months, but I may imbibe in a small glass of champagne if I make it to midnight.
I'm glad the roads are not icy this morning. If I must go into work...then I don't want slow traffic and crazy people on the road to make the drive dangerous.
I hope everyone stays warm this morning...enjoy your coffee for me (still not drinking it). Have a super day.

Good morning, obviously I'm off today as I actually get to ride the train. Does anyone have news on MEGGIE?? I'm so worried about her. I haven't heard anything since she was first admitted to the hospital yesterday.
Lots to do today. It's weird having Clay off til next week. He messes up my "day off" routine. BUT he did fix my car heater yesterday. It was so weird, it would blow hot air when the car was moving but cold air when it was idleing. Turns out I had NO water in my radiator. So a little water and some antifreeze and I was good to go again.
I'm hoping to go connect with a "cruise specialist" either this week or next to get some info for us on our cruise. Looks like we've got about 35 people that signed up to go. Hopefully out of that number we'll have at least 20-25 that actually make it. So start looking for posts next week.
We'll be serious about getting "back to basics" in January so thing about joining us on our daily thread. As we all know accountability and planning is the key to long term success. Enough rambling...have a super day.
