Back to reality Monday- WLS Express

Well no more Christmas stuff to plan, the tree and decorations need to be taken down and its time to go back to work today. Back to reality! That's okay though- just a 4 day week today! Woo hoo!

Good morning! We got in last night around 8. We would have gotten home earlier but we were so tired of riding in the car we took a few breaks to walk around. We went to Wal-Mart in Little Rock and found some Christmas stuff 1/2 price. We stopped in Denton to get a few groceries, etc. Much to our suprise we saw bits of snow around here! I still can't believe that the 1 year we have a white Christmas since 1926 and we weren't here to see it! Oh well! We had much more snow in PA.

We just dumped everything in the living room so tonight after work and foot doc I'll try to weed through everything. I soaked in the tub when we got home and we both hit the hay early. I've got a cold that I'm trying to get rid of and I've got some good bath stuff that really helps with the congestion.

I think I did okay on food- didn't do so great at putting protein first, but didn't over-indulge that much either. I plan on getting back on track this week. I haven't weighed since the 17th- will do that this morning.

update- I didn't lose any weight BUT I didn't gain- I'll take that!

Quick drive by as I head out the door to exchange some boots and go to my appointment with the EENT. I am tired of sinus infections and allergies. I don't know if anything can be done, but I thought I'd at least ask.

My Mom went to an allergy specialist in Dallas and got shots and it has helped her tremendously. She has suffered for years with horrible hay fever type symtoms and doing tons better in the last couple since she started going to him. I can get you a name if you'd like, Tracy. Her friend got her going and her Sister also goes to him. Sh'e only been to him about 3 times...I wanted some boots for Christmas but I didn't get any...Saw some at JC Pennys that I wanted but didn't spring the cash for them...Have a Blessed day! Annette 

Good Morning Train!

WOOOOOHOOOO for Mondays!  I still had 1 more day of vacation I had to take, so I'm laying on the couch with my laptop again.... LOL 
I know that I didn't do well with my eating, what with all the chocolate and fried pies, but the scales was only up 2 lbs this morning so I'll claim that and go on... LOL 

Prayers are going up for all that need them!

I did pretty good with my eating during Christmas! And... no fights with the parental unit!  That's the big one.  Meds are working!!

Had a really nice Christmas.  We drove out to Azle during the storm Thursday night!  Wow, what a trip.  We left River Oaks at 4:30 and didn't get to Azle until after 7 PM!  And it's only a 20 minute drive!  Lots of wrecks along the way and people on the side of the road sliding around.  It was kinda funny to see.  All I can say is thank goodness we made it in one piece!  What an adventure!

Anyway, back to reality!  I'm really glad that this is another 4 day week but I don't have to do anything to get ready for this holiday coming up!  Must get into the shower and get to work!  Y'all have a great day!  Love ya!

wow-that sounds like a long scary drive Thursday- we also drove in scary icy weather up in PA on the 19th. Bryan drove and did a great job. Sounds like you did too! Glad you were safe!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family,

Can you believe it's over?  We rush arund trying to get everything done and then before you know it, its all over.  I think Christmas should be a week long thing that way all that rushing around is not done in vaine!  It's cold here in Dover, and supposed to get colder and windy!  Guess we wont try and venture to far today.  Jon is anxious to go to the park behind our house but it wil need to dry out some and warm up some.  He already has a runny nose dont want to make it worse then it is.  It's fun having Jon around, but I forgot how tireing it can be to have a 3 year old running around.  Got up this morning with my back and my hips really hurting.  Will have to take it a little easy today.  Guess it didnt help any that I slept in the bed with him to make sure did not wake up and be scared.  Wont do that tonight.  He was fine.  I do want to get my tree down today.  Hoping I can at least get the ornaments taking off and put away before Mark gets home and then he can take the tree itself out.  My eating did not get to out of controll.  I think I put a couple of extra pounds on and I have no doubt tht it was the SF Apple Pie.  Even though it's SF it still has a ton of calories and carbs.  Next year I wont make it.  Just to much of a temptation.  Oh well. I am off for another cup of coffee.  Prayers for those that are traveling this morning, and for those that need healing especially Jenny and Eric.   Remember God is good All the time.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle
