Monday Mission/Thanks
Buenos Dias Familia!
I hope everyone had a good holiday. I hope everyone's travels to and from their destinations were safe!! I enjoyed my quiet time with my first Christmas with a new husband. I made tamales, ham,and veggies the last 2 weeks. For our Christmas meal, we ate shrimp and clams and will probably do that again for New Years eve as well. I got what I truly wanted for Christmas...a tearless Christmas. Let's pray I receive the same for my birthday and for the start of a new year.
Eating... Um I ate like a pig(let) LOL I've got my grocery list made out and getting back to the basics. Not so much to lose what little I may have gained ( won't weigh in until 1/21/2010), but mainly to enforce the mental discipline of doing the basics. I surely do not want to get overly comfortable!!
I hope everyone has a great day/week!!
Blessings,
Nina
Mission:
Give and receive with an attitude of gratitude.
This time of year, when you may feel depleted of time and resources, Make it a point to change your attitude. Know that all good things are readily available to you. Retain an attitude of gratitude for all you give and all you receive.
Don't say anything unkind, untrue, or unnecessary.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith ...
it is the price of love.
