Thank you

I've been having an incredibly hard time starting this post. How does one keep brief the amount of gratitude found in our hearts from the overwhelming amount of proof of God's love for us? I assure you, it's not an easy task.

In our journey to remission, and eventually a cure, there are a lot of stages you go through emotionally. I remember asking my mom at one time if God really does give us more than we can handle because the burden was so overwhelming. What I have learned is God absolutely will give us more than we can handle because He trusts us so much. And in His perfect timing and Amazing Grace, He gives us the tools to handle what we need to, right before we think we can't. That is the fairness in the struggle. Learning and growing and expanding in the grief of normalcy expired. In essence, the sugar and water to go along with the lemons life has handed you, making your lemonade sweeter.

So thank you all, for being the sugar and water God sent to us. Since Eric's diagnoses we have been the recipient of more prayers, support, and unconditional love then we could have ever hoped for. The outpouring of love for my family has been humbling to say the least. From prayer chains to posts just saying "hey we're thinking about you!", to gifts of fun excursions and presents under the tree for us to open Christmas day, we truly are in undying gratitude and promise to pay forward the generosity you offered to us to others in the future in your honor! Thank you all so much for being the answer to our prayers!!!

Here's to more blessings than any of us can imagine in 2010 for us all!! Thank you again. We love and appreciate you all!

Jenny,

Saying thank you is so hard but you did just fine!  I don't post or respond much but you and Eric and Rhiannon are in my hearts and prayers daily as well as at my church.

My Daddy always says 'adversity builds character', but ya know, I think you have enough.  When you have these trials and challenges that are overwhelming and you wonder about God, just know that he does have FAITH IN YOU!  Faith that you can get through it and we are here to help you as we can.

Honestly that is the only way I can rationalize the CRAP in life sometimes.

As our Lynnette says as well - know you are loved!  And may you have a very blessed New Year!

((((Jenny))), those challenges in life are oftentimes hard and we, as human beings, need a higher power to get through those difficult times.  Keep leaning on our awesome God and your friends as you trudge through the journey you currently deal with.

Know that you and your family are in our daily prayers.

Love ya,
