WOOOOHOOOO for lazy day Sundays... Well, there are lots of dirty clothes from our trip that needs washing, and I need to go to the grocery store and.... oh heck never mind.... I guess I need to get up and get busy, LOL

Good morning...it's the day after the day after...and it's back to reality time.  Today we're driving Mom back to Conroe and then it will be home to get ready for work tomorrow.  Clay's off until Jan 4th so that even makes it worse.

Last night my Mom took us out to Hailey's restaurant to eat and OMG was it wonderful.  Mom and I had pan seared Diver Sea Scallops and Clay had the Beef Tenderloin.  It was absolutely the best meal I've ever had.  Thank God Clay has a big appetite cuz I could only eat 3 of my scallops so he got to finish off mine plus Mom's.

Safe travels for those on the road this morning (including us) and I'll check back in tonight to catch up.  I'll be monitoring FB from the cell cuz lord knows you can't do OH from a Blackberry.

Good morning Train Riders!!  I'm having such a great time here in MD.  Our flight on Christmas was only delayed 1 hr, but that sure did make it seem like a very long day.  It was completely uneventful though and for that I am very thankful. 

Yesterday we went to the Air & Space Museum at Dulles Airport.  Went up in an observation tower and listened to air traffic control talk to planes.  We normally would have been able to see the planes, but there was fog and only 1/4 mile visibility.  Then we went down and got in simulators.  Jeff did an interactive simulator that he got to fly a fighter and shoot down enemies (and flip around 360 degrees), then we all went on a 3D space walk one.  Next we wandered around the museum looking at all the planes, helicopters and space vehicles.  Took a bunch of pics, got several with Jeff in front of fighters, the Enola Gay, etc.  We also watched an IMAX movie about the forces of nature.  Jeff had never been to an IMAX and was impressed with it.  Five hours of walking around wore us all out, so we headed home and promptly got stuck in some awful traffic.

Once we made it out of traffic (about an hour later) we stopped at Sbux and got a drink, then drove into DC.  We drove past a few of the memorials, saw the White House Christmas tree and wandered around for a bit.  Today after church we're going to ride the Metro into DC to do some real site seeing.  Jeff would like to walk the entire mall, so I'm going to have to wear my comfy shoes for sure.

HOW FUN.............makes me wanna go and do something off the wall here............

Last weekend - I got into one of the game "race cars" at GameWorks at the Grapevine Mills Mall........I was so impressed that I could actually FIT into it that I didn't care how I did on the game.................of course - I came in last..............but oh well !!  You get just as much attention in last place as first place........SO THERE !

You all have fun and stay safe !!(((((((((Huggs)))))))))))))))  You are NOT missing anything in the Dallas area except for COLD  and I think it is warmer up your area than here !! 

If you go to Union Station in DC (it has been fabulously restored to its original grandure sp?) check and see if Bains Deli is still there! That is our deli!

Good morning.  We have our last Christmas celebration with MIL today.  I don't want to cook so hope we can go out to eat for lunch then go to her house.  She's been in Corpus for several days so maybe she doesn't want to cook either.  Ross will go back to work later this evening.  I got all our Christmas put up yesterday other than one tiny Santa that I accidentally left out...there is ALWAYS one Christmas something left out.  I had to glue his leg back on and forgot about him.

I plan on going to SS today before my MIL Christmas.  Ross and Ben spent most of the day trying to find our electrical plug connection in the den (where the wire originates and comes from) whi*****luded pulling up 2 baseboards, plywood flooring from the attic, etc.  It's the 3rd day they've tried to find the problem.  Ross can't remember when we added on the room where he tied into the other wiring!  I guess I will have to hire an electrician.

Good morning all! I'm sitting here, on the flat part of my butt, when I REALLY need to be cleaning, organizing, etc, etc...just don't WANNA...feeling REAL lazy today...MIGHT be the carb overload of the past few days--all 100, 000, 000, 000 of them...I lost count...soooooooooo glad it's over!!!!!

Every commercial on TV is either "after Christmas sales" or "lose weight for the new year"...gotta love it...every year...same thing...

Hope everyone has as PEACEFUL (nice word for LAZY)  a day as I'm having-LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

Mornin' (almost afternoon though..) everyone!
Need to get movin' here.  Heather has to be at the driving school by noon.  Second day and they are going on the freeway.  Lord have mercy.  I know I will not be ANYWHERE near them!  hehehe.... 

Feeling a bit yucko today.  The past two days I haven't really felt too terrific.  Not sick, but not 100%, either.  Just that usual hot one day/cold the next kinda thing that has most likely caused a sinus infection.  My face feels "full" and my right ear hurts like hell when I swallow.  WAHHH!!!  I absolutely HATE this feeling.  I'll be calling my doc first thing tomorrow morning!  I only have a couple weeks until my last plastics so need to get WHATEVER this stuff is OUT of me completely!!!

Today the tree is coming down.  Puppy is finding it WAY too much fun and I'm tired of hollerin' at him to quit biting it so the more effective way is to take it down.  It's been up a month so I'm fine with it coming down.  Paul got me a Bose radio/CD for Christmas and this one even works wirelessly with my computer so I'll be trying to hook that up today, too.
