Totally OT - tooth pain help!

OK so i have the tooth ache from you know where. I did the braces thing but other than that i have no teeth issues. yes hate me, i have no cavities or fillings at the time.  Well, left upper tooth toward the back, Killing me!. I grind my teeth in my sleep so this  particular tooth has hurt before as I ground a point into it and it was grinding into the bottom tooth at a straight point. Ya. nice!! yes i have mouth guards etc. 
anyway.. ya, i know.. i dint sleep then when i do, i grind my teeth. 

OK so here's the issues today.. the tooth is really hurting. Yall know for me to post on here about it.. I'M IN PAIN!.  Ora gel etc hasn't touched it nor has washing my mouth out with Epsom salt rinse.  Now while i have health insurance, I dont have dental.  So.... what should i do?
and no i don't have any 'good' pain relief drugs here other than Tylenol and aleve!

I was going to say Ora-Jel, but if that won't work then that means the infection must be way down in the root now .. likely an abscess is forming there ..  The good news is that once it suppurates (bursts) it will bel ike instant relief from the pain, but that's when things can really get dangerous ..  Get to your family doc at that point, if no one else .. 

Bless your heart.  There is nothing like a toothache to keep you up at night.  Since you do not have dental insurance,  I would suggest you go to your MD Monday.  An infected tooth is not a good thing to let go too far. But, then again it may not be an infection and the Dr. can hopefully rule that out for you.  Good Luck!!

When mine get to hurting that much, I floss.  I have horrid teeth, they run in my family.

I usually have food caught between the teeth that really irritates the gums.

I flossed. thought that may have been the problem since i had eaten prime rib at cousins.. thought I had meat or something in there. Nope ,,,'
thanks tho. think i may have to  break down tomorrow and call mom's dentist. gRrrr hopefully it wont get to that.. of course then i will get the 'well why did you just call me at the house girl? i was just dressing up a deer (or something to that effect)... then i will get chewed out for not having been in 'a coons age'.

I've got a big-ass bottle of homemade Bailey's that might not help the tooth but it sure will make you feel better!!  Actually, in the "old days" people would soak a cotton ball in alcohol and put it next to the tooth to numb it so I might not be too far off.

Do i need to meet you in conroe? lol. 

Believe it or not, licorice. Put some on your tooth as if you were chewing tobacco.  If not, I've got a garage full of tools....something in there is bound to work!  Just sayin
