Home from surgery today

I had surgery on tuesday and I got home from surgery today around 2. I have to say that this has been a crazy ride that has only just begun. I've only got a localized marcaine pump in my tummy still. Its keeping me nice and numb-ish in the guts. I've also got liquid lortab but I have not seemed to need it yet. I'll probably take it before bed to get a good nights sleep.

I have to say this was something like taking a ride on a plane... you show up, get on the plane and before you know it you're somewhere else without ever feeling like you've really left.

Green icepops have been my best friends today. :)

So glad to hear that everything went well.  Sorry you're missing all the seasonal food but it will be so worth it in the end.  By this time next year, you'll be thin and everyone will be ooh'ing and aah'ing over you.
