How did everyone do on Christmas? How about that snow? I've seen pictures. Wouldn't you know it- the one time DFW has a white Christmas! Of course we had one here but we came into a snow filled area a week ago and its still on the ground. We are headed home today. Chris will stay with mom and dad and fly home on the 1st with my sister and her girls. Bryan and I have to work Monday so we'll be getting in tomorrow evening-if all goes well. Hopefully it will be a good drive home, weather wise, and not the stressful icy one on the way here.
We had a great Christmas with family. Got to spend alot of time with Emily. Chris had a great day- spent alot playing his new DS game.

Prayers for safe travel for those traveling- hope everyone gets where they need to be if they didn't get to travel yesterday. Ya'll be careful!

Good Morning Alissa and the rest of my TMB Family

Well it's over for another year!  Never heard today called Boxing day, but I dont plan on going anywhere and boxing with anyone!  :)  Tim and Jon will be here around 11 and I need to get child proofing my house.  I am so excited that they are coming and I love that my tree is filled with things for Jon and  few things for Tim.  Tim is going to spend the night and we are going to have our Christmas dinner tonight of Enchaladas, pumpkin pie and SF apple pie.  He will leave tomorrow and we get to keep Jon till next Saturday!  I am a little nervous.  It has been such a long time since I have had a little one for more then a day or two.  It will be interesting thats for sure.  We had such a nice day yesterday.  Very quiet, and ended with dinner at TGIF's where Mark ordered ribs and I had a few.  I hope today to get  chance to try out my WII fit plus.  Has anyone used it?  Whats it like?  Well guess that is about it from here.  Prayers for those in need this moring expecially Jenny and Eric, and those that are traveling today.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.

WOOOOHOOOO for Saturday!  I'm up and at 'em and ready to get moving.... Today I'm headed back home.... a little worried about traffic and residual snow, but oh well.....  I don't have to be back at wor****il Tuesday.... So I'll have plenty of time to recover from my vacation, LOL

Good morning everyone.............Hoping that everyone had a great Christmas.....

Mine Sucked !!   But thats okay.....................I stayed in bed and slept off and on all day...I guess was just really down cuz I couldn't get to Oklahoma -     Christmas Dinner for my family in OKC planned for today but Oklahoma HIghway Road report doesn't look to promissing for travel today through the Arbuckles today either...........so  I'm gonna stay put................:(   
I dont' need all of the food anyway ...............................

So - off to work to job #3 for me..........nothing else to do....................

Happy Kawaanza to those that celebrate it.  I'm glad Christmas is over and things can settle back down into a regular routine.  My day yesterday was great.  I really lucked out and didn't have to work at all-not even the 1/2 day I thought I would. 

We ended up at the Gaida Mexican Feast and by the time we got home everyone was full so I have $70 worth of prime rib sitting in the refridge marinating.  Mom insists on taking us to Hailey's restaurant tonight for dinner so I guess I'm gonna cook the prime rib and just eat it for leftovers.  What a waste!!

Mom is so funny, she wants to go thrift store shopping today.  She certainly isn't hurting for money but like me, loves a bargain.  Personally, I wanted to go to Kohl's and JCP's but whatever she wants, I'll do.  We'll be driving her home tomorrow morning. 

Hailey and Jody took their dog back to the apartment with them so it's quiet around here with just the pugs.  Hailey will be here today and tomorrow cuz she works all weekend.  Better get showered and dressed cuz Mom will be raring to go soon.  Ya'll have a great day and safe travels for those on the road.

Good morning.  I'm ready to box up my stuff for Boxing Day.
I'm going to cook breakfast burritos, get the tubs from the attic and get going.  I'm always ready to put up the Christmas decorations as soon as Christmas is over and done with.  I don't like leaving it up.
That's what I'll be doing all day long.  I'm not planning on going anywhere at all today.

Oh Karla I am the same exact way.  If Tim was not coming with Jon today I would probably already have the tree down.  It is coming down tomorrow though without a doubt.  I love my real tree but the needles are starting to drop and I am ready to get rid of the mess.  Have fun today!

Ho, ho, ho!  Sounds like everyone is having a great holiday weekend and enjoying the family time.  Same over here.  I'm going to the gym this morning, but will spend the rest of the day with DH.  I have homework, but I'm putting it off until tomorrow to stretch my holiday out just a wee bit more.

Good morning!!!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday!!!  I know I did!!!  I had both my parents here for Christmas (first time in over 20 years... or should I say since they divorced)!!  Typing from my new dell laptop!!!   Now I can retire the Gateway that is almost 7 years old!!

Not sure what the plan is today... I do have several returns to make to 2 stores but haven't decided if I want to venture out  today or not!!! 

Is it bad that I'm ready to take down all the Christmas stuff and get my house back to normal????  I know my hubby and kids will have a fit if I even dare to suggest such a thing!!!
