MERRY CHRISTMAS...I'm HERE which means the Labor Gods are playing nice so far.  Hopefully, I'll be home all day but if I end up haivng to go to work, it's OK too. 

OUR Christmas celebration was wonderful last night.  We had the full "Thanksgiving" meal of turkey, dressing, etc followed by Hailey's apple pie.  Afterward we opened our gifts which took forever!!  We had WAY too much stuff for just a few people.  I got a NEW HP computer and all-in-one printer plus diamond and saphire earrings, a beautiful watch, lots of socks and scarfs and warm stuff.  Hailey even made me a triple thick fleece blanket -OMG it's so warm I slept like a baby last night.  Having Mom here made it extra special too.  Even Clay and Jody (the boyfriend) seemed to get along.

Today we'll be going to Clay's family celebration for "Mexican Feast" and then I'll be cooking prime rib here later for dinner (providing I don't get called into work).  I better get off the computer, Hailey's ready to set up my new one for me so I'll be off-line for a little while.  MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, I pray you have a wonderful day surrounded by your family and friends...and remember...I love you more than my scale!!!

Merry CHRISTmas, my family! I just love reading everyone's stories and memories. We are SO much more than just "people who have had WLS".

We had a great time at my house last night. My 2 yr old nephew, Brayden, was "in charge" of handing out the gifts. He got so jazzed up about GIVING that he didn't want to stop to open HIS OWN. The last gift of the evening was Chris brought Brayden's bike out-PRICELESS. We all had to go outside with the bike-snow and all. Everyone else wimped out pretty quickly, but Brayden and I stayed and had snowball fights, etc. I hope I made some good memories for him.

Richard got me a digital camera, a digital frame, and a photo printer--I was VERY surprised and VERY happy. When I pressed him as to where he got the money for all the that ("pressed" is the NICE word) he finally admitted he sold some of his tools, andone of his collectible Nascar cars. Anyone who knows Richard KNOWS what a sacrifice that was for him-what a guy!!

Special prayers for our military family members, who are far from home today-but remain close in our hearts.

Gina what a wonderful story!!  I knew Richard was good people.  Years ago when times were very lean for us, Clay sold his prized 44 Magnum pistol in order to buy me what I really wanted for Christmas.  That meant more to me than any Christmas present I've received since cuz I knew what he sacrificed for me.  And I'll bet the TIME you spent with Brayden meant more to him than the bike.  He will always have that memory.

Had the annual christmas eve party with the family last nite over in spring. turns out my cousin lives smack dab in the middle of paige and donna )who are 2 miles from each other lol) and i think in the subdivision accross from Paige so will have to plan better next time!
cousin always puts on a spread (he owns a resturant) but i did really well, just ran my mouth instead of filling it. Was told i looked absolutely beautiful in a sweater DANA got me, of course there was the usual house frau cousin there that just cant get 'WHY you want to wear those shoes and WHY you have to dress like that' I finally told her well i like to look nice, and you should try it sometime!.
ack thought i hit send already but my ADD is in full force today!~

Merry Kiss-mas OH Family!

I slept until 10:30, up drinking my first cup of coffee. Going to have lunch with Summer,Kirk and Laylabug here around 1ish. Rick let me open one gift last night and it was one of those Snugglies ooooh warm. Did not have to go to work last night I called the police dept and they said the 35 bridge was closed. I was worried about driving in it. I wrapped up a toy washer for Summer to open since her real washer won't be delivered until tues can't wait to see her face. Going to have x-mas with Chad Mandy and Alleycat on Sunday and than Alleycat and I are going to go see Mom on Monday. Well better go start dinner. Going to have ham,sinful potatoes,greenbean bundles,caramel apple cheesecake. Hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with wonderful memories.
