It's happening....

I took Biotin and Zinc and upped protein.  And hey..just getting older and female equals facial hair.  That's why they have so many commercials about getting rid of "unsightly facial hair".  No matter what you do get ready to deal with facial hair because it's pretty much one of those things you get when you become a certain age... I've done everything from threading to hair removers.

You are right on schedule! I swear I willed it because I was expecting it but mine started exactly at 3 months and stopped promptly at 6 months.  As most will tell you, you normally think you've lost way more than you think.  I didn't know you made do rags!  How cool!  And yes hats are in and I wear them a lot.  Just wear your hats and your rags but don't shave your head.   When it stops it will grown in and fill out the remaining hair.  Just tell them your pets are shedding a lot these days.

When I had surgery the only thing I even liked about myself was my hair.  I have never gotten it back to the length it was but I have to face it, I'm 55.  Don't worry about it, you'll be fine.  Try not to stress your hair any more than necessary and in no time it will quit.

Yep - right on schedule!  Mine started at 3 months and quit falling out around 6 or 7 months.  Mine is like Laura's - I have this short fuzz all around my head and when the humidity is high (which is every day here) - it sticks out all over !   I was getting 80-100 g protein every day and still do so there's nothing for it but time.

When it was real bad I was afraid to cook!  You literally start shedding and can feel it as it falls on your arms.  Mine came out in handfuls every time I showered.

I still have bouts where it starts again, but nothing like the 3-7 month period.  Biotin didn't seem to hlep, but I swear taking extra zinc helped.

 Yep - now's the time - about 3-4 months out ..

Don't know if it will help this late, but did you try also taking a FULL-spectrum amino acid supp.?   Your body cannot utilize the protein properly without all of the a.a.s present ..   You can also try daily biotin (very important), chromium piccolinate and zinc piccolinate supps.  ..

Good luck ..  don't do the "Star Trek gal" thing, yet, Dee!
