Totally Elfing Thursday-Christmas Eve WLS express
Merry Christmas eve!!!
I am sitting in the kitchen in Shiner town, getting ready to help Dad feed the cows for brother while he is out of town. We will have our Christmas tonight with gumbo and all the goodies. We will open presents with Emm tonight since she will be leaving out tomorrow late morning to visit with her aunts and uncles in Clear Lake tomorrow.
Got all my wrapping done last night finally. Lord I was wiped out. I am like Lynnette, I think gifts should be prewrapped... But it's done. I was exhausted yesterday from all the doctor stuff and running to close up shop in NB and get down here. I was crashed by 10pm. The cold front hit about 2am and what a difference! But the weather is nice here for now.
After my fiasco surgeon visit yesterday, I forgot to mention. (GET THIS DANA) when they ordered my labs last month, he DIDN'T have them test my IRON!!! So he had his tech take another draw yesterday and I have to wait and hope he bothers to tell me the results. My other labs, potassium, liver, D's, Bs, all that was excellent.
So I hope everyone has a wonderful two days at least with family and friends. I need to go be helpful and productive here.
Just remember, as I speak loudest to myself.. those cookies and that pie and all that mess have to be dealt with on our butts and tummy AFTER the holiday. It's going to be a very strict January!
