chicken salad for lunch or leftover pork/potatoes
shrimp gumbo for dinner w/ cornbread or garlic bread

My plan today....
Protein coffee
Egg beaters with beef fajita meat & veggies
Chicken fajita soup
Cottage cheese w/ salsa
Pastrami roll ups
Fiber plus bar
Dinner at the in-laws, not sure what's being served
My Mom has called me about 6 times this morning from the grocery store, so I know I'll have good stuff there to chose from. She's even going to make a SF pumpkin pie so I can have some. The challenge will be making sure my out to eat choices are within reason. We're going to be out sight seeing a lot, so lunch and dinners will likely be out and about. But hey, that means exercise! Woohoo!

Todays plan....
Pre-B....Chai Tea
B.....cottage cheese w/ coconut, almond and choc SF syrup....Almond Joy cottage cheese!
L....spring salad and smoked turkey
L#2....grilled chopped steak, just a few bites, and a few sweet potato baked fries
D....leftover L#2. Only a few bites again. Either this steak is really dense or I'm having a teeny pouch day!
LNS....Chai Tea
ETA....fill in what I REALLY had!
So, the scales are up 3 lbs. in the last month. I know some of this is water retention due to what I had for lunch yesterday with sodium content. But regardless, I'll own the friggin' number... In general, the scales are holding steady which frustrates me. Even though I've dropped a size and have lots of flabby skin to show now - it would be nice to see the scale move too!
I have to get back to basics; planning meals ahead, working out consisten****er intake.
It's been a rough month in more ways than one and I'll start over with Monday (traveling until then).... However, as I took a vacation day Monday - no more excuses - my butt will be in the gym!

I like your statements...truth... no excuses given, just honest truth... they match mine...
eating junk... not planning.. very low on protein... gotta hit the gym..
I will up my proteins... and water... will focus on exercise once all the road trips are over..
