The NIGH****CHMAN - Sunday 12/20
Getting ready to go to work. Be back later.
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

I'm so sorry that you all are having to deal with this - this close to Christmas - there would be a good time of year to deal with this.........but you know what I mean (I hope)...........(((Huggss))) & ((( Prayers))))))))))))))
My weekend was okay - went by really fast.............too fast.............I can't believe tomorrow is Monday - this is my 3rd week in a row that I only have to work 4 days.......(due to previous vacation days and this week and next - holidays)..............I won't know how to work a 5 day work week when it comes around in Jan.........lol
I worked some this weekend - only worked yesterday from about 1 - 430 - then went to Grapevine Mills Mall (What was I thinking)..........to just hang out and kill a couple of hours... did some mall grazing (not a good thing after RNY) but I do know that my tool does still work.......I really tested it this weekend and have felt like CRAP too........but I so deserve it too !! :(
I worked today also - from about 9ish -430 - took brother out for dinner tonight because he cleaned / vacuumed my car out and then home to watch Mavs and chill - was in pajammas by 630 if not earlier...............
WEll - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS CARD..........I don't check my mail too often - but it was very nice to see all the cards from my TMB FAMILY !! ((((HUGGSS)))Mary always does such a wonderful job each year on these..............luv you all for your love and support through the year and many years to come...................

- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.
- Total Lost: 139 lbs
- Current Weight: 263
- As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.
- RNY: 10-16-07 = 338: Highest weight: 350+ Lowest Weight: 199
Just a quick jump on as I am so tired from this weekend. Went to San Antonio to watch our football boys. Heartbreaking loss but they will be back even stronger next year. Lots of last minute changes, including a huuuuge change in QB for the past two games so the cohesiveness just wasn't there.
I also found out a very good friend of mine was air lifted to downtown. She's a teacher and had a fall off of a sitting stool. When she fell, she did so onto a chemistry ring stand (a metal base with a metal rod soddered to it so then these rings can be clamped onto the pole, then a test tube or beaker, or something can sit there with the flame underneath). Anyway, she fell onto a two foot ring stand and it went right through her abdomen. She was lucky - didn't injury anything catastrophic and she will be ok but how scary!!!
Need to get some sleep so will see ya' later!
Rev. has started having unexplained episodes of very low blood sugar in the last few weeks. He's not a WLSer himself, or diabetic, and otherwise is in very good health. His levels have gone as low as 40 and then up to as high as 80 within an hour. It really puts him at risk of passing out w/o warning. Their family doc in their small town is mystified by it.
Ginger is driving Rev. 150 miles on Tuesday to the nearest endocrinologist to try to find out what is going on with her husband. We're both wondering if he might have an "insulinoma", and hope and pray that it is not something that serious.
Thanks ..
