Well I'm up and I see Mari and Nina are up with me.  Why you ask?  Well a sick child will wake you from a dead sleep.  Conner is sick :(, came home from a friend's house last night running fever and complaining of a sore throat.  Strep is going around here, nice right just in time for the holidays.

Since the train theme has been Christmas spirited this past week I'll throw this question out.  What age were you when you didn't "believe" in Santa?  I was in 5th grade so older than many of my friends I found out later.  When my sister and I found out we both cried, Christmas changed after that.  We knew it was Christ's birthday and always celebrated it church-wise but also thought Saint Nick was real.......my boys still believe and it's really exciting Christmas morning.  I dread the day they don't, it's just not the same for kiddos after that.

Liz is coming, Liz is coming woot, woot.....get to see my girlfriend today!

What is your plans?  We'll just chill and chat!

I honestly don't remember exactly what age I was, but I do know that by the time I was about 11, I was helping my parents "do" Santa.

I think my daughters still believe LOL - at least they expect that gifts will miraculously appear. My ex-mother-in-law read them a book when they were little, about Santa Mouse, a little mouse who lives in Christmas trees. Every year they wait to see what their Santa Mouse gift will be. Sometimes it's something silly, or candy, but sometimes it's their "big" gift. Santa Mouse has brought cell phones and jewelry in the past. They both have little Santa Mouse ornaments that go way up high in the tree.

Dana, I hope Connor feels better soon!!  I am just relaxing today, recovering from my brachioplasty.  It's day 2 and I feel so much better than I did yesterday.  I can actually bend my arms so it's a good day.  Tomorrow I get my bandages off and drains will be removed.  It's the first time I have ever had drains and they are icky!!

I can't wait for the swelling to go down so I can see my new arms!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Morning Dana and the rest of my TMB Family,

Hope your little guy is feeling better this morning Dana. I think I believed till I was 12 or so.  Even after we found out there was no Santa my mother still continued to do stocking for us..and when my sister and I married and had kids she did stockings for everyone.  I think if we were closer ad were together at Christmas she would continue to do it.  I am not sure if Eric believes or not.  He is 13 so I am guessing he doesnt.  I think this year he will figure it out though when I ask him to help me fill John's stocking.  It is so cold here this morning only 25 and the snow is piled up everywhere.  They cancelled all church services for today, and it wont surprise me if they close the schools by tomorrow.  It's not snowing anymore but still pretty slippery out there.  I have no plans for today what so ever.  I still have a few things to get done for Christmas but it can wait for a few days and the roads are better.  Maybe I will just go on-line and order stuff. We will see!  Prayers for all those in need this morning, especially those traveling.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys

Good morning...Dana...hope Conner gets better soon.  I think strep is going around here too.  I know one of my coworkers sons had it Thurs.

Ben and I will go to SS this morning.  I have to teach SS today.  We'll run by the store to grab a couple of thing on the way home, then come home and stay home.  We'll be gone tomorrow all day to Conroe and The Woodlands.  Ben has to go to the dermatologist and I told my mom she could go with us.  We haven't taken her and her walker shopping in a while.  Oh well...we get to use handicap parking...always good at Christmas!  We will just walk slowly wherever we go.

Prayers to all who need them.  Wow...ya'll do have a LOT of snow up north Michele.  Hope Bryan and Alissa are okay traveling.

I'm jealous that Liz and Dana get to play together today!

Have a great Sunday.
