My sister is reading over my shoulder...she is a skinny mini and always has been. However, she has lived her entire life constipated. She says she constantly feels full of concrete! LOL! Anyway, she told me to ask if you have tried Miralax. Her PCP told her about it several weeks ago and she has had a lot of relief with it.

Tell me about the pain you are having...is it constant?? Is it hard to 'breathe' through the pain?? Where exactly is the pain located?? Is it near one of your surgical incision points?? Was it a gradual buildup of the pain, or did it hit immediately??
The only reason I am asking all these questions...10 months post op RNY, I had a partially blocked bowel obstruction that required my WLSurgeon..my pain was located near my belly button, but it seemed to radiate all along my waistline...and it was very difficult to 'breathe' through the pain. One minute I was fine, the next minute I was constantly in pain. That is how quick the pain onset was. I went to ER, they did chest xrays and a CT scan, and I was admitted to the hospital immediately and had surgery the next afternoon.
Some of the ladies in the office knew that I was experiencing some pain, but did not realize how serious it was until the morning of my surgery when I called in saying that I was going to be out of the office for the rest of the week. And when I told them why, they were completely astonished. Boss wasnt too happy about it all, but knew it couldnt be helped...Visit to the ER on 4/11... surgery 4/12...released from hospital on 4/13...was back at work on 4/15 (Saturday) to work on extensions, etc because I work in a CPA firm...now you know why Boss wasnt happy at all about the situation.
Take care of yourself, and if you think you are in trouble, get yourself to the ER, ya hear?!?!
