My DH is home from his Quad heart bypass and is doing as well as can be expected. IS very weak and in quite a bit of pain...I even have to raise his feet on the recliner..but I am not complaining-glad he is alive~If yall would remember us in your prayers I would love it and prayers back at everyone that needs them.
Hope yall have a wonderful day! Love to all~

Mornin' folks - I actually am catching the train today - that in itself rates a WooHoo!
My WooHoo is I caught the One Day Preview sale at Macy's yesterday and SAVED more than I spent! I actually was able to buy some winter clothes and not just summer clearance rack stuff! They had my jeans I like on sale for $19.99, plus my 10% discount. I have to grab them when they have 'em because they rarely have any regular length in my size (which, a-hum, is a four now in this particular brand). Pickup up a couple of long sweaters that could actually double as sweater dresses if I got in the "**** it up" mood! LOL
Trying hard to make better meal choices around here; not only for me, but King has decided he has to lose some weight. Why? Because his hunting bibs are a bit snug - no they are A LOT snug! His sugar has been up a little the last few days and probably needs to get his meds adjusted, but between the dr. office not having any appts and COBRA benefits taking forever to kick in he's "just going to take an extra pill" ... oh boy, now he's a doctor!
Still have my little mouse creeping around. S/He must be too small to get stuck to the sticky trap, but it was moved a bit so I know it is still here. And how bored am I? Our game camera quit working sometime last week, so I exchanged it yesterday and actually set it up in the kitchen near the "mouse tracks" to see if I could catch the creature in action....now THAT's bored! It did snap pics at 11:30pm and 1:00am, but I couldn't see the little devil in the pictures.
I had a phone interview yesterday with a small software company and took their silly little consultancy test late yesterday afternoon. Waiting on a call today to see if I get the chance to interview with their hiring manager. If all goes well, I'll interview with the hiring manager, then go to Boston for a face to face interview with the US folks. The headquarters are in Dublin - yes, Ireland. That could, if I'm lucky, mean a trip or two to Ireland for training! Have a few more irons in the fire, waiting on the phone to ring or email to ding.
Trying to make myself get out of the house for a little bit everyday, but it's COLD and I didn't like cold 150# lbs ago and I dang sure don't like it now!
Hope everyone has a great day - and for those of you who are about to start your holiday travels .... safe travels and may your flights be filled with quiet children!
Edit: IF I were wrapping presents, the paper would be solid purple and solid gold but since we don't do presents in our families, I don't have to wrap anything!

Good luck on the job front. Ireland would be a nice change of pace.
Take care of King. I hope he gets the meds worked out and his sugar leveled off. Scary stuff.

Ok, here I am. He)) week is over. This month it lasted from about the 5th till today. Sheesh. Gotta love the end of the year in an accounting environment!! It has not been too bad, I only really had one day that was really tense and now we can move on to The Holiday's!! We did land on our feet and are looking pretty good.
Tom is spoiling me rotten. He is taking care of me these days and I am so proud that he can. He works hard everyday at the house. He likes that because when he gets tired he can rest and recoop. He has cooked more food in the last month than we can consume so the freezer is stocked and every night I have great choices for din din.
Between the dogs and fixing his truck, he has his hands full. BTW if you have not heard, he is teaching Brownie to drive and Barron is the copilot, the trees in the yard are not safe!!
Liz is taking Barron and Bella to Beaumont for Xmas so they will be missed and Brownie will be depressed. Means we will have to buy him a new toy to keep his spirits up.
Yall have a great day.
