I was pleased that the scale is moving down, in the right direction. Lost 2.4lbs this week. But my bestest surprise was this evening when DH took my monthly measurements. I lost 5 inches this month! My bottom half is finally catching up with my top half! Now I'm finally look more proprtionate.

Waist = 1in
Hips = 1.88 in
Thighs = 1.63 in
Calf = .5 in

Total incheslost since Feb. = 37.25 in!

I've decided it's not so bad when the scale isn't moving, that just means I'm losing inches somewhere!

How fantastic..  that is a great wow..

You have done so great.. I know that you must be so very happy.. to watch the scales stay the same or even slip upward a little is so disheartening.. but to then see the loss in inches.. it must be a great relief and a great encouragement to you.. it would make me dance a jig.. I will do one with you.. ok ready ..   oh sorry thats a happy dance.. ok so I'll do the happy dance with you..lol..

I am so proud for you.. keep up the good work.. before you know it your bottom will not be behind anymore.. lol

I forgot to measure tonight when mom was here.. Now I guess I wil have to wait.. See I hid the scale and now I'm forgetting to measure.. I am learning patience..I hope..

Hats off to you.. you are a great inspiration..  37.5 inches gone forever..

Dee, this is the whole reason we always stress to newbies to take those pre-op measurements.  When the scale isn't moving as fast as we want, those measurements validate that the surgery is working.  I hope you get new clothes for Christmas cuz I'm sure you need them.

 Congrats Dee.   I always found it true that when the lbs. stopped coming off that was the time for the inches to come off.     Good luck to you my dear !!
