A Wheelchair For Judy - "Transportation Needed"
Guys,
I guess a prayer of mine has been answered .. Another TMBer (no name here) has offered to donate a large-size wheelchair that belonged to a famiy member of theirs that had recently passed. Problem is now how to get it from the DFW area down to Kerrville and the nursing home where Judy is residing.
The wheelchair is, of course, large, and it does not fold up. The member reports that it is able to be carried in the back of a large SUV, though.
Is anyone here planning on going through or near Kerrville from the DFW area before the first of the year? Would you be kind enough to take the wheelchair along for the ride?
