The NIGH****CHMAN - Monday 12/14
Please folks, do not take support groups for granted. They are an important part of your journey. I am talking about a structured support group. If you don't have one, please find one. I personally go to Tawnya's DFW Supporters. Her meetings are well structured and she is prepared. She takes this volunteer task very seriously.
Now on to other things. Got my Stars tickets in the mail. Those of you that requested them, I will make arrangements with you for delivery. We got seats way up top, but for $10 what can you expect. We will be sitting behind one of the goals. I really like that because then everything is in front of you, your head does not have to go back and forth like at a tennis match.
Not much else going on in my life today.
Hope everyone has a great day. What did you do?
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

I don't know what got into me, maybe it's the whole 'tis the season' thing, but I volunteered to adopt one of Danni's Tim's single buddies..... so I'm going to bake some homemade cookies tonight and hit the dollar store tomorrow for some stuff to pack in with them..... other than that, tomorrow is my turn on the witness stand.... I don't know if I'm glad it's finally here, or scared sh*tless.... LOL As soon as we know one way or the other, I'll be posting an update... but I'm betting we won't know the outcome until Thursday or Friday..... please keep those prayers coming!
Enjoy that Stars game.... I've always wanted to go to a professional hockey game, but the timing of this one just didn't work out for us...

Just been overwhelmed the past couple days. Paul left over the weekend to head to Dallas for a wedding on Sat., then on to his parents' in Philly until Wednesday. My sister is here so we are hitting the stores so she can get holiday shopping done for the kids. This weather has been just gross. I swear, I feel like we are living in Seattle with all this fog and NO SUN!
Had a knock out drag out with Heather last night with regard to her needing me to "go over" one of her papers. Her idea of me going over it is me DOING it. Uh, sorry!
Paul did call me from his parents and said one of his older brothers dropped a big bomb of news on them...he quit his job and moving to Afghanistan to work on helicopters. Of course HUUUUUGE pay. I told him he is a grown man and can make his own decisions..... He starts in January sometime. Training somewhere in Virginia right now. Oh well.
Guess I'd better get moving!
Later....
I bet Paul's brother will be making big money. Does the job come with a flak jacket? I hope he takes out a good insurance policy.
Today our weather was pretty nice. Sun was shining. It was actually warm this afternoon. 60's I guess.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
Thank you for organizing the STars game. I can't wait. I've never been. I could care less where the seats are as long as I'm with friends !!
I'm FINALLY home this evening from 2nd job. Was off today @ #1 job and went in to #2 job at 3pm - JUst clocked out at 12:15am. 9 hours........hmmmmmmmm not bad for PT-TIME !! huh?
lol
Prayer Request: James................spent last week at Parkland. I wasn't aware of this until this past Saturday - We are really "seeing" each other -but still remain friends. WE went out on a date about 5-6 weeks ago and I hadn't heard anything since - I spent this weekend - really trying to get him to answer his phone.........turns out - pour reception at Parkland Hospital.
They put him in to run tests............SOMEONE FINALY REALIZED THERE WASN'T SOMETHING RIGHT. They took him off meds............and bingo - finally had a "white-out" spell (thats what he called it)............been complaining of those ever since I met him back in Mar-April.
Anway: DIAGNOSIS: EPILEPSY !! AT least now he has answers. OH yeah - when I talked to him - with the medication adjustments..........NOT AT A STATE MENTAL FACILITY - HE COULD TALK WITHOUT SOUNDING DRUNK !! He sounded really good.........up in spirits too..........
WEll - enough about me and my world for tonight. Gotta crawl into bed so that I can get up at 630 and have time to get ready for work, pack lunch and stop at store on way to work #1
((((((((Huggss)))))))))))))))) STAY WARM AND HYDRATED !! SIP SIP SIP
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.
