I did better w/ the cookies and baking yesterday than I thought I might.  Did taste a few, but got sick of looking at them by the end of the day! 

Today's plan:
lots of liquids
protein coffee already downed, working on chicken broth
Atkins Shake
Maybe a click...dr. says I need more protein!
have no idea about lunch or dinner...not a good plan!

I'm planning on remembering to take my vits today...I usually am religious about taking them, M-F while at work. LOL Once I get home, it all goes out the window.

I want to get in a good amount of protein, I'm going to cook breakfast for the family soon, so I may indulge myself in some fried eggs... I'm so tired of boiled. Also, an activia yogurt.

Not sure about the rest of the day, but I'm going to Tawnya's support group this afternoon in GP. I'm excited!

Kim...try Pam to "fry" your egg in.  Use a non-stick skillet and it works fairly well.  I'm not a scrambled or plain boiled egg girl.  I can handle an omelet w/ lots of stuff on/in it.  I am weird though...I like a little cream of chicken soup straight out of the can cooked in my scrambled eggs...it's one of the few ways I eat them.

my doc said the same thing...'YOU ARE NOT GETTING IN YOUR PROTEIN'
My numbers in the category are usually low to lower... 
gotta work on it..

Mine was at the low end of the range.  I am trying to up it...slowly but surely.  I didn't it to drop any lower.  At least everything else checked out well on blood tests!

I am back and in really bad shape.  Haven't bothered to eat anything good for weeks.  Sandwiches, chips, cookies, eating out, oh my, just mindless.  The side effect is that I feel bad physically along with the scale howling at me in pain!

So I will get back on it today and get my food here and cook.  Has to be protein protein protein and much more water.

I have my last surgeon followup in 10 days and boy am I NOT ready.  Don't want him to think I eat like this all the time.

Glad you're back!  I, too eat like crap sometimes.  I'm sure far from perfect as far as eating goes.  Hang in there...eat your protein and guzzle the liquids!

I am NOT panicking repeat NOT panicking - my scale shows a 4 pound jump in 2 days so it has to be water - it has to be right??

ok so today
shake
egg with ham, cheese and onion
lots of water
no clue for lunch or dinner
will have a 130 cal chicken salad and crackers for one snack
fiber bar for the other
and stay the hell out of the chocolate

and more water much more water - I lost my good 1 litter camel back - have searched the car and house with no luck - think I will offer the boys a couple of bucks - whatever I have in ones to find it - they are normally modivated by $s and I am not getting my water in and that is sucking

ok off to drink more cl - that I can drink out of a glass at least
Home is where the army allows me to live with my husband

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail

It most likely is water...don't freak out about it.  I thought your first entry said "snake"...I thought dang, Danni's getting back to nature with her protein there going out and catching snakes to eat!  Glad I realized it said shake...

I need to stay the heck out of the cookies today...they keep calling my name!  I should makes ones that I don't like.

Good morning!!!  Today is a new day and I think I might be on the brink of turning a corner today!!!  Hope so... tired of being tired and feeling like crap!!!  Small price to pay right???  :)

But I got on the scale this morning and I am only 1 lb away from goal.... and that's with swelling!!!!!  So basically in my mind I am at goal!!!!  Now the hard part really begins.... how to stay here!!!!!

Trying to stick to a liguid/soft diet for awhile and getting in my extra protein for healing.  Only probably is nothing really sounds good!
