An Update On Me

I was asked to update everyone on how I was doing after what happened right before Thanksgiving. I have picked myself up and I am moving on.  I took my kids and moved into my mother's house Thanksgiving day.  I still have some things because I have to get a storage unit, but the majority is out.  My son is having a hard time understanding why we won't have presents for Christmas this year, but itn't about what you are getting anyways.  I am just thankful for my health and my family.  Thank you for all your prayers.  They are very much appreciated.  God is good and we WILL get past this.

Kim, I am so sorry to hear about this.  I know I have not been good about reading the board so much, and I am really sorry I missed what was going on in your life.  I went back and read your posts. 

So, I guess he decided not to move out?  You are doing the right thing by staying away. 

Saying a prayer for you and the kids.  And your husband, he needs the prayers too.  He is lucky you didn't press charges.  May God bless you.

For some reason, this post just came through.  My husband is going to move out when the rent is due.  I just chose to go back to my mother's because it is safer there for the moment.  Thank you for your prayers.  We all need them right now.  Especially with the holidays.

Kim.....so glad that you got out and took your kids.    This could have been a one time thing with your husband but no one knows if it would ever happen again or not.    I commend you for taking a stand and getting out and not sticking around to see if history will repeat it self or not.    Good for you.    Let your kids know that family being together and your health and well fare is worth far more than all the gifts under a Christmas Tree.    I will pray for you that things will improve.    God is definately good and he will take care of you and your precious kids !!!!
