Terrific Tuesday WLS Express
Dana,
Hang in there with your baby boy. My Chad who will be 30 on Saturday, grew up to get two degrees and is working on his Masters, wonderful husband and father, had ADHD but back than the only thing offered was Ritalin and we chose not to put him on that. My biggest regret is not being more of an advocate for him. We focused on too much of the behavior that goes along with it and did not understand the disorder like we do now. But when you know better you do better. I worked with kiddos for 10 years at the elem. school and now understand that their mind goes twice as fast and it's hard for them to have impulse control. I promise it will get better.
Your loved!

The semester is almost over, just 2 final exams to go. I'm taking one more class this month that meets 530-930pm m-f starting next monday and ending the 30th. Then I have a 2 week break before spring term starts Jan 18. Obviously I'm loaded and have very little time and it is only going to get worse as classes get harder so I made the very difficult decision to stop training at the gym. I finish with my last client on Sat Dec 26. After that I'll only be working as a spinning or bootcamp sub. No regularly scheduled gigs. I'll miss the money, but mostly I'll miss my clients. It was a realy tough decision for me and I was super emotional over the whoel thing last weekend, but I'm better now and I know it was the right thing to do. That will also give me more personal time occasionally for time with all of you and my other friends and family.
Weight is holding steady, but unfortunately that is up about 6 pounds. I'm honestly not sure where I'm off or what I've added so I'm using fitday starting today. I need to track, see trends and make some changes. I refuse to allow a holiday gain, so my holiday goal is a 5 pound loss by Jan 1.
Off to read and catch up with you all.

I redid the lights on our patio last night and am almost happy with how it's looking. It needs a little more but I'm not sure what yet. I'm going to check with my in-laws to see what we can borrow from them. This is the first time in years that I've actually wanted to (and felt physically able to) decorate and it's really nice. Jeff has class this evening and I've got a meeting at church for our Christmas dinner next Sunday. I've also got to run by Walmart and pick up some of the vits I'm running out of.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day today! Do something good for yourself and someone else today.

Good morning train riders...so far I'm feeling better today. I've been dealing with a chest cold and sore throat for about 10 days so I'm ready to be done with it.
Not much new in my world. Hailey called yesterday and told me about her individual client assignments for next year. She got 3 boys-one with slow speech development, one autistic and one Down's Syndrome. They range from 2-8 years old. She's thrilled and I love hearing the excitement in her voice. It's nice to know that Speech Path seems to be the right choice for her.
I have no plans today as it's a crappy rainy and cold day here. Might just hybernate inside all day. Hope Paige, Tara and Vivian are all recovering nicely. Special thoughts and prayers for Karen and her grandchildren today.
