Thanks Dana and I know today will be better because I have already claimed it.  Thanks for paying it forward and giving back. I need two tires too but I am trying to wait until January just like you were.

Dana,

Hang in there with your baby boy. My Chad who will be 30 on Saturday, grew up to get two degrees and is working on his Masters, wonderful husband and father, had ADHD but back than the only thing offered was Ritalin and we chose not to put him on that. My biggest regret is not being more of an advocate for him. We focused on too much of the behavior that goes along with it and did not understand the disorder like we do now. But when you know better you do better. I worked with kiddos for 10 years at the elem. school and now understand that their mind goes twice as fast and it's hard for them to have impulse control. I promise it will get better.

Your loved!

Lynnette

The semester is almost over, just 2 final exams to go. I'm taking one more class this month that meets 530-930pm m-f starting next monday and ending the 30th.  Then I have a 2 week break before spring term starts Jan 18.  Obviously I'm loaded and have very little time and it is only going to get worse as classes get harder so I made the very difficult decision to stop training at the gym.  I finish with my last client on Sat Dec 26.  After that I'll only be working as a spinning or bootcamp sub.  No regularly scheduled gigs.  I'll miss the money, but mostly I'll miss my clients.  It was a realy tough decision for me and I was super emotional over the whoel thing last weekend, but I'm better now and I know it was the right thing to do.  That will also give me more personal time occasionally for time with all of you and my other friends and family.

Weight is holding steady, but unfortunately that is up about 6 pounds.  I'm honestly not sure where I'm off or what I've added so I'm using fitday starting today.  I need to track, see trends and make some changes.  I refuse to allow a holiday gain, so my holiday goal is a 5 pound loss by Jan 1.

Off to read and catch up with you all.

HUGS

Good morning Train Riders!  I'm going to have a good day even though it's starting out feeling a little icky.  I haven't had my bi-annual allergy attack yet and I'm thinking it might be starting up, so I'm going to do lots of fluids today and take some meds if it really kicks in.  Working on protein coffee right now to get my head in gear for work.

I redid the lights on our patio last night and am almost happy with how it's looking.  It needs a little more but I'm not sure what yet.  I'm going to check with my in-laws to see what we can borrow from them.  This is the first time in years that I've actually wanted to (and felt physically able to) decorate and it's really nice.  Jeff has class this evening and I've got a meeting at church for our Christmas dinner next Sunday.  I've also got to run by Walmart and pick up some of the vits I'm running out of.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day today!  Do something good for yourself and someone else today.

Good morning train riders...so far I'm feeling better today.  I've been dealing with a chest cold and sore throat for about 10 days so I'm ready to be done with it.

Not much new in my world.  Hailey called yesterday and told me about her individual client assignments for next year.  She got 3 boys-one with slow speech development, one autistic and one Down's Syndrome.  They range from 2-8 years old.  She's thrilled and I love hearing the excitement in her voice.  It's nice to know that Speech Path seems to be the right choice for her.

I have no plans today as it's a crappy rainy and cold day here.  Might just hybernate inside all day.  Hope Paige, Tara and Vivian are all recovering nicely.  Special thoughts and prayers for Karen and her grandchildren today.

Good Morning EO! Faith I have my ticket to ride. LOL! I am at thehospital on laptop with my DH who will be having Heart Bypass surgery wed or thurs. He is really antsy about it ! He will have 3 or 4 bypasses done. He has been here since thursday and they have him on heperin. Are having to wait till he is off of Plavix for 5 days...I saw the neurologist last week and he thinks my "episode" that I had of passing out and having a seizure was Dumping! I am scheleuled for an EEG but he doesn't really think that I had a stroke or anything like that. But he did say that  if I have any more seizures that he would have to put me on anti-seizure meds and that I would be trading in my old set of health problems for new ones so I have to be really really careful with the carbs! I had never really dumped before but that day I not eaten until noon and had eaten way too much. I have decided to try to eat several small meals a day keeping my calories at 200 or less and carbs at minimum( 15 gms at most at one time) Also I don't know if this had anything to do with it but  I had been trying to do the pouch test for several days prior to the episode..Anyway, don't want any repeats so I will keep the carbs way low. would appreciate any input from you guys. Prayers for everyone! Hope you get to feeling better Stephanie! Love to all!
If we don’t put our efforts into creating what we want, then we have to put our efforts into coping with what we get!

Prayers for your husband as he undergoes surgery.  If I eat a really, really heavy carb filled meal and sit still afterwards, I will fall fast asleep before you can blink your eye.  When I wake up it is like uh-oh I have done it again.  I do believe it is attributed to the carbs so keep them low.
