Good evening all.  Hope all is good for you today.  When I came to work, the sun was shining.  Nice afternoon.  Kinda dark out there now.

Got back our vacation pictures today.  330 pictures.  I did not realize, but 100 of them were at Shoji Tabuchi's show.

What's up with you?

Just so you know, you need to
TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

 Evening George,

I have done pretty well today.   No pain meds since 6:30 AM.   Went to Target and Walmart but chose to ride on the handicap scooter rather than walk....although I did walk from store to the car.    I have experienced a little gas today but I am feeling not too bad.    Swollen but that is to be expected.    Hope you have a great evening at work.

Hugs and blessings !!!  Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Hi George;

It's been a really bad two days since my return from vacation. Work is insane and I came home to a crisis. It's been really bad, but I'm pushing through and managing it as best I can. I'm blessed to have a great boss on my side.

My vacation was wonderful, but seems eons ago now. I've worked over 24 hours already this week not including my commute. I haven't had a chance to even download my pictures, yet.

Michael's in ATL for the week which makes it even harder for me to get by. We're headed to San Antonio this weekend, so I'm trying to get prepared for that.

I hope you're having a good night. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

Evenin' George...
Usual busy day today.  Tomorrow much of the same, of course.  Getting ready for my sister's visit.  I need to get started on wrapping presents.  Had to get creative in keeping the puppy off and out of the Christmas tree.  He would grab ahold of a branch and just start shaking the living heck out of it!  Uh, NO!  Sooo, I had my decorative holiday fireplace screen which a 4' tall mesh screened tri-fold metal thing.  I went to Home Depot and found two more plain ones (brass frame with mesh but no holiday design on it) so I could put them on either side of the holiday one.  Worked perfect except for the fact one of the brass ones is bent so took it back to the store.  Will have to go to the other Home Depot as the only two others they had were pretty bent up too.  The boxes looked like they had been ran over so I wasn't surprised they were broke.  Right now I just have a card table on its side (table top side out towards the room) with the other two fireplace screens on either side which is working.  He will have to learn to stay out of there but for now, why tempt him!!!  The fireplace screens were SO much cheaper than any other kind of gate!

Well, fixin' to get cold again tomorrow.  Ugh.  Everyone will be sick for Christmas!!!  Just what we need....NOT!  Weather is calling for lots of wind which will make it FEEL even colder.  I hate being cold down to my bones!!!  I never seem to be able to warm up!!!

Ok, gotta get lunches done early.  Last night I feel asleep on the floor with Schnitzel and woke up about 4:45 AM and realized they were not done.  CRUD!  Had to do them at that horrible hour!!!  Figure if I can get started on them now, I won't have a repeat of that again!

Stay warm up there!!!

So, puppy discipline class didn't work out too good, huh?  LOL.

When we were over at Brad's house, we noticed his kitten was sleeping on a branch about half way up the tree.

Supposed to be 29 degrees on Thursday morning when I get off work.  Told Mary to buy me gloves tomorrow.  I only wear them when I get to my car.  Leave them on until the car warms up.

Gonna be a good husband this weekend.  Taking Mary to see 101 Dalmatians, the musical.  Brownie points.

No, actually, puppy class worked out great.  He was the "top dog" in fact doing everything during his Monday night testing superb.  Problem is his human "buddy" who swore UP and DOWN that she would "exercise" him thinks that "exercise" means to take him out back for 3-4 MINUTES and that's it.  WRONG!!!  The dog snoozes for me most of the day and doesn't bother the tree....BECAUSE HE'S SLEEPING!  Why?  Well, as soon as Sarah gets on the bus, it is "GAME ON" in our house.  He eats, then he and I run, play, etc. for an hour, at least.  By the time I'm done with him, he's exhausted.  The dog trainer lady even said, "a tired puppy is a great puppy because he's been worked and exercised."  Paul laid into V tonight about her lack of holding up her end of the bargain and told her that from now on, when she comes home, REGARDLESS of homework, she is to work with him at least 45 minutes.  She never wants to take him on a walk, so now he's gotten to the point when Paul WANTS to walk with him, he gets like two houses away and just lays down on the sidewalk and won't go for a walk!  I don't know if he's afraid he's getting too far from his house or what.  She wasn't too happy but as I reminded her, a dog is a commitment and she BEGGED and BEGGED so she WILL uphold her end of the bargain.  Normally she comes home and plops down on the chair to either watch a little TV or play with Schnitzel for just a bit but after about 15 minutes of play, she's putting him in the kennel saying, "he's tired", then thinks she is going to head upstairs to jump on the computer and chat with her friends on Facebook.  Uh, that would be a huge NO!  She got kind of stupid with Paul sort of smarting off quietly so he couldn't hear her comments, but I did.  I looked at her and said, "I realllllly wouldn't say that again as YOU WANTED THIS"!!!  Even though he did great in puppy class...he IS still an inquisitive puppy so I know he will mess with the present, etc., so that's the main reason for the fireplace screens.  It actually looks nice with the screens around it and will keep my KIDS from digging around in there, too!!!  hehehe....

29 degrees...BIRRR!!!  I keep my gloves in my big coat pocket so they are always there.  I figure if it is cold enough to need my big ol' 0 degree rated coat, then gloves are a must!!!  I don't think it is supposed to be that cold here though....

As you know, they soooooo need that structured dicipline of a daily (sometimes more than once a day) walk.  No matter what!Playing outside just doesnt cut it, trust me, i know!!! I used to have to walk Bella BEFORE obedience class so she could focus on what was going on lol.  Trust me, she didnt 'come out of the box like she is now! lol.
Smack V and tell her I said, walk the dang dog!!!
When my two lived with me, they got a good 2-3 miles a day. Now granted, they are much bigger than your lil guy, but it made the difference in good behavior and husky olympics! especially this time of year. Now that they dont live with me, i need to make a better effort to walk them more than once a week! Bad mamma here too lol

When I was born, I cried and the world rejoiced. Now i wanna live my  life so that when I die, the world cries and I rejoice
