Update on Paige

just heard Paige is out of surgery and in recovery.  Went well though long.  On my way to see her will update then.

Thanks so much for the news, Donna. I was sure hoping to see something when I got on this evening.  Will keep the prayers coming.

Donna, any update?  I'm sure she's resting and hitting the pain pump tonight.  Please let her know we are all praying for a smooth recovery and very happy to see her out of surgery and in her room now.

She was doing well!  Very sleepy so I did not stay long!  Had been in some pain but had recently had meds (so did not stay awake long LOL)  I just talked to her hubby and she was trying to get some rest. 

Actually no pain pump.....not sure what he is giving her for pain though they are trying other things as last time the morphine made her so sick.  Nausea was not too bad when I left but they were going to be getting her up soon after I left.  So we will see how that goes.  

I will be seeing for myself tomorrow as I was called to 'babysit' as her dh has somewhere to go tomorrow night LOL!  She is set to come home sometime tomorrow afternoon!! 

I let her fill in the details later though!  Wonder if this will scare me from having my own procedure in May  LOL! (probably not....make me want it sooner LOL)

I did tell her that you were all thinking of her and asking about her!!!  I am sure she will post for herself as soon as she can stay up long enough and can focus on the phone  LOL

Her hubby said the DR used the word looks fabulous (or was it fantastic lol) a lot.  Hard to "see" much yet though I told her I was anxious to see how it looks!!

DONNA-thanks for the continued updates. As a nurse, it always scares me for people to come home so soon after having surgery, but I know that's how they do things "nowadays". Give PAIGE gentle (((hugs))) for me, please

I am sure she will stay if not ok today.  Seems fast to me too!  Don't worry I gave her hubby strick instructions on when to call for what and to call me for ANYTHING!  I will keep an eye on her!!!
