The NIGH****CHMAN - Monday 12/7 - Remember Pearl Harbor

Good evening all.  As referenced in the subject, please remember the families of those who served in Pearl Harbor, and it would not be a bad idea to say an extra prayer for our men in the military.  We can't take what they do for granted.

A gloomy day outside.  How fitting.  But we will move on.

First day of working both jobs since before Thanksgiving.  Gonna be a long one.

Got some issues to iron out at the part time job.  Had two quit.  It really helps me because the ones that quit are low performers who I have been avoiding firing until after the holiday.

Guess we can move on.  What's going on with you?

Just so you know, you need to
TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Jeris asks for prayer as she is a single mom to a 4 year old and is in the working world.

July is going through a divorce, requesting prayers for her and her kiddos.  We know a divorce is tough, and can be especially tough financially.

Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids.  They went to court 10/29 to try and get them back from CPS and it's been a real struggle.

Kat (Iwannabethinnow) has a friend with breast cancer.

Lynne asks for prayer for Miranda as she seeks facility to help her son as well as patience for homeschooling in the meantime.

Meggie's mother has breast cancer.  She has a large hematoma under it. Her lumpectomy will be on Wed,  11/11. It is stage 1 cancer and they do not believe it has spread yet and don't think they will need to remove any lymph nodes! Radiation therapy will start in 6 weeks everyday for 6-8 weeks!

Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers.  Her father will be having surgery Dec. 14th in hopes of completely ridding his body of cancer.  Also for herself as she will be seeing her doctor on Dec. 17th to discuss removal of mesh and possible reversal.  Is really needing some "normalcy" in her life.

Vivian requests prayers for the extra stress in her life.

Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers.  This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there.  Remember them too.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Thanks George for the reminder.  My father was a Pearl Harbor Survivor.  He was in the military police and was directly invovled in the prisoner interogations that took place.  He often flew back for the anniversary celebrations and NEVER missed a Veteran's Day celebration where he appeared in his uniform until the year he died.

Evening or maybe I should say Morning George,

LOL   Well the gallbladder is gone and was replaced by 4 incissions.    It is nice to eat soup and not get sick from it.   I have had to take pain pills ( which I hate doing with a passion ) but hey...better than hurting.   LOL   I will probably be up for a while.   I didn't sleep well last night....too excited about the surgery today....then came home and slept almost all afternoon wearing off the anestesia.   LOL    I have been taking my Dorvecett every 4 hours for pain.    Hopefully tomorrow I will move around alot more and feel much better.     I am so glad that the gallbladder is out.    Thank GOD !!!   I wish I had gone to Dr. Kim earlier and told him of what I was going through.    Trust me....I won't let things go on and on like that again ever !!!!  My incissions are bigger than I thought that they would be but that is OK.    I am also bruising already but hey....they will go away with time.    LOL   Just so glad it is out and I know I will feel much better in the days to come.    Have a great evening and don't work to hard George.   Tell Mary I said hello !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I personally don't do pain meds.  When I had my gallbladder out, the doc gave me a prescription for Dorvecett which I did not even get filled.  When I had my RNY, my pain pump fell out and I didn't even notice.  The nurse came in to check on me and asked how I felt, told him fine.  He said let me check your pain pump.  Lifted up my shirt and the pump was laying on the bed.  He said "I guess you don't need it."  I've always been that way.  The only pain that has ever really bothered me in my adult life is sinus headaches.

George.....I usually don't do pain meds either.     I  usually always get them filled just in case but usually end up flushing them after months of sitting in my medicine cabinet.    But trust me.....this gallbladder removal hurts as much or more than my plastic surgery.   Go figure on that one.  LOL   I guess Dr. Kim looked my insides over really good while he was in there.  LOL  I am so very sore.   Hopefully when I get up and get moving around alot more today it will get much better.   I am thrilled that the gallbladder is gone even if I "have" to take pain meds.  LOL  Hope you had a good night.   I took pain meds every 4 hours all night long.   I figure I will only take them when I absolutely have to have them and that is what happened !!!   I got hit with gas pains on my right side with spasums about 2 AM and took Gas X and and then pain meds a little early too.   I can tell all my insides were moved around this AM.  LOL   I know it will get much better though !!!
