Mele Kalikimaka Monday WLS Express!
Good morning Train Riders! I'm a bit tired this morning, we were at church till 10pm last night at a budget meeting. In addition to the leadership issues we are dealing with, we also have an income crisis that is seriously threatening the church and I'm not sure how it's going to be fixed. Lots of praying is in my (and our whole church's) future. Without a big change either in income or drastic expense (staff) cuts we have enough cash to survive till June 2010. I've never dealt with this kind of stuff as an adult and it's a painful, sad experience.
Took Jeff into the doc this morning to see about switching his acid reflux meds. He's been on Nexium for 3+ years and is starting to have break through acid, plus our insurance doesn't cover Nexium next year so its a perfect time to see if there is something better out there for him. We've got some samples for him to try to see which one is best and luckily all three are covered next year. She also wants him to have an EGD and colonoscopy. He reluctantly agreed and we've got the GI doc appointment set for Jan, so we'll see what happens with that doc.
I'm continuing to work on my projects at work and also working on my Christmas cross stitch project. I'm toying with the idea of giving up TV for a while, and if I can deal with it and Jeff agrees we might just cancel the TV service altogether to save some more money. Neither of us watches it a lot, and other than the news shows we can get most of what we do watch on line. I've been listening to Dave Ramsey again and it's re-inspiring me to push harder to get out of debt asap.
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

For us it was I saw three ships. Finally found a copy in iTunes
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And what was in those ships all three,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day?
And what was in those ships all three,
On Christmas Day in the morning?
The Virgin Mary and Christ were there,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
The Virgin Mary and Christ were there,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
Pray, wither sailed those ships all three,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
Pray, wither sailed those ships all three,
On Christmas Day in the morning?
O they sailed into Bethlehem,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
O they sailed into Bethlehem,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the bells on earth shall ring,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And all the Angels in Heaven shall sing,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the Angels in Heaven shall sing,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
And all the souls on earth shall sing,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
And all the souls on earth shall sing,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
Then let us all rejoice again,
On Christmas Day in the morning.
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day, on Christmas Day;
I saw three ships come sailing in
On Christmas Day in the morning.

Scars are like tatoos, but with better stories.
Wow ,the Hawiian Greeting brings back memories! Both my babies were born on Kauai during the Vietnam War in the mid 70"s. We were stationed at PMRF Barking Sands Kekaha,Kauai, Hawaii. I remember we had a very sparce Christmas tree because that's all they had there. I got pregnant with my daughter which was an unexpected Christmas present in 1974. Thanks for the memories.
