Snow Sunday WLS Express
Yesterday was a wonderfully perfect day. I slept in until 11:30 after going back to sleep (the hot tea did its trick). I then decided to book a 1 hour massage. Since I was a walk in they couldn't get me in until 5pm but that was fine. Clint and I did some window shopping. Then rested at home until it was time to check in. The massage was INCREDIBLE. The chronic pain in my shoulder is greatly reduced. I may book another one just before we leave for Arizona.
After the massage we called some friends I haven't seen in forever and decided to hit our favoiite sushi place. I did very good. I had sashimi (no rice at all) and I had one piece of one of Clint's rolls and knocked most of the rice off it. It was oh so tasty and just enough. Next time I will ask the chef to put together a small sashimi 'plate' so I can have a bite of 4 or 5 different fish, not 6 pieces of the same thing. I love tuna and salmon but my most FAVORITE is the hamachi (yellowtail).
So, I spent all day with my sweetie, had a massage and sushi. If that isn't a perfect day I'm just not sure what is.
Today will be less fun....laundry. But, went you spend all day relaxing, the next day is usually filled with 'responsible' stuff to do.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.
MARI - ITS COLD EVERYWHERE THIS MORNING.......BRRRRRRRRRR IS RIGHT !!
How is everyone this morning? I don't have much planned - was going to hit early services this morning at church - but I don't think that I'm gonna make it !! Just cuz I want to get to work and stay there.............I only worked for 3 hours yesterday and well - my friends.......THAT WON'T PAY FOR THAT SEPT CRUISE AT THAT RATE...............Gotta get to the netty gretty and get my butt moving............
I met family and friends up in ALLEN, TX last night (they were in from Tulsa) and we ended up eating at Jason's cuz ever where else was packed nad the earliest they could reserve for 10 people was 8:30 !! Not a good thing when you have kids - huh?
I think that I made good choices............salad bar - but only picked up some cheese, bacon bits.....cottage cheese and a few little toasted breads............then I got a serving of their chicken salad - cuz the salad bar was NOT protein friendly at all !! lol But it was time with family that was all that was important !!
Well - its about 830 - time to get out of the house and on to work !! Luv you all
HAVE A GREAT DAY AND HAPPY SUNDAY !!
- Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose. Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email. I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Good morning train riders...I'm hard at work. Walked in and delivered a baby 15 minutes into my shift. Now I'm hoping the rest of my day is less eventful.
I've got my old cell phone up for sale on ebay and so far the bidding is at $73 and there's still 10 hours left to go. Considering I only paid $29 for the phone new, I'm doing OK. Got to get cruise and passport money somehow. I've also got a camera I need to list for sale. Yesterday we took a whole pick-up truck full of stuff to the thrift store. I'm trying to get rid of stuff we don't need or use. Clutter has taken over our lives!!
Special prayers going out for Paige and Vivian as they get ready for their up-coming surgeries and healing prayers for Tara and Eric.

RNY revision from lapband 7/30/07...TT/BL 10/9/08 and at GOAL
Getting a late start on the train this morning!!! Trying to keep busy today so I won't think about tomorrow!!!
Got up early and went grocery shopping so the family won't starve to death!!! Came home and have been cleaning and finishing up a bit of decorating for the holidays. Think I'm finally done with that! Got my Christmas shopping done yesterday with the exception of a few things that I can finish up from home while I'm recuperating! Hubby and the kids are working at a community theater for their Christmas play so we are going to go see that this afternoon (since I don't think I will be up to going next weekend) and then probably out to an early dinner somewhere.
Wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes on my surgery tomorrow! Donna will update things tomorrow.
Prayers going out to all who need them today!!!!
~Paige~ -155lbs (lovin' my band)
At GOAL and BMI is healthy!!
Busy day today. Cold and yucko outside as it is drizzling rain. Our snowman is slowwwly melting!!! Paul and the girls made one Friday that was like 5 1/2 feet tall!!! AMAZING!!! It was so cute! Then, Saturday morning our neighbor spray painted a huge BLUE star on his center snowball and then wrote "GO COWBOYS" in blue spray paint on the bottom snowball. Now, ya' gotta realize that there was some "fighten words" at our house since my hubby is the #1 Philadelphia Eagles fan!!! It was all in fun and once Paul got home, he took the putty knife out, got rid of all the blue and decorated "Frosty" in the high school RED for our KATY TIGERS who picked up yet another win towards hopefully a 3-Peat STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE!!! WOOHOOO!!! The two older girls went to the game and as usual, came home with very little voices. They scream the entire time!!! We won the coin toss so next week's game is here in Houston so I'll be going. We play New Braunfels....(watch out Becky!!!...hehehe) here at Rice Stadium. My sister gets here Thursday so she's going to go with us to the game. Paul has to miss it because he will be up in Dallas going to a wedding for one of his old friend's son. After the wedding, he's heading directly from Dallas out to Philly to spend a few days with his parents, then back here by Wed. the 16th. My birthday is the 17th and he's learned the hard way NOT to try to fly back from the East Coast in winter ON my birthday as you MAY not make it back that day!
Today is clean-up day in my house. Like Steph said, the clutter is taking over so I told the girls they were not going anywhere or doing anything until rooms get cleaned up, their bathroom cleaned, trash cans emptied, etc. Tired of all the junk!!!
Hope everyone has a great day!
I agree about the de-cluttering. Steph gave me an idea....eBay! I just got a newDroid phone so I have a perfectly good Blackberry I don't need. This phone also has a great GPS map feature so I can get rid of the TomTom. Now I just need to learn how to sell stuff there!
