Snow Sunday WLS Express
Good Morning My TMB Family,
Burrrr its cold outside. Woke up to 32 degrees. Good day to stay home, drink coffee and decorate the tree. Had planned to go to church this morning but they are saying the roads are icy so think I will stay put. I know eventually I will have to relearn how to drive in the snow and ice but just not today. We had some snow last night but it was the big heavy flakes that dont stick around for very long. Oh well I know there will be more before winter is over. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. I decided yesterday that Mark likes to spoil me. Not that I am complaining but we went out to Best Buy yesterday and to the Mall, and came home with a new 55" LG LED flat screen TV a new pair of corderoys and a new sweater. Merry Christmas to me I guess. I have been doing good with my weight, but not so good on the excersising.. I need to go and check out the gym, on base and the fitness center here in the housing area. I know that exercise is such an important part of working this tool, and I know how good it makes me feel when I do exercise. Prayers today for all those that are in need, special ones for Jenny and Eric, Viv as she prepares for surgery tomorrow, Liz and Annette as they look for work, and all the unspoken ones. Have a blessed day! Love you guys.
Because I'm excited about our Christmas party at work this week- I'm co-planner and I am heading up a FUN game- and the trip to PA, I feel like time is going too long. But, today we are having Christmas with my sister. We're going to church with them, eat lunch, and then let the kids exchange presents. They aren't coming to PA until after Christmas and they are busy next weekend, so we're having Christmas a bit early today. Michelle-enjoy your snow day.
Prayers continue for Gaye and Eric. Liz-have a safe trip home-when are you coming back?
Take care- have a great day!
Prayers for all who need them.
Have a great day!

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Had a fun and great day yesterday...Went Xmas sopping with my new "Other Mom" here in AL. She was showing me some of the old haunts here in HSV that have been a mainstay for shopping for the snooty people here for years! One of those places to be "seen". Totally NOT my kind of place, but it was fun! Then we went on a tour of the old main cemetary in town. It's a cool place with wonderful old monuments, ghost stories, and an actual Civil War section. Yea, I'm one of those people who are fascinated by old cemetaries and the history surrounding them.
Everyone here is "UP" for the Rose Bowl, Texas and Bama - hmmmm and they want to know who I am going to root for...DUH? Don't have any interest in TU but will support them rather than the Tide...maybe I'm just evil!! Who me???? Gotta stir that pot! Hope everyone has a great day! Stay warm!
Hugs, Mari
