Thank you Jill for keeping the NW going while I was gone. Thanks to all who post on it. Appreciate everyone.
Gotta go visit my son, will be back later.
Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.
If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested). Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers. Her father will be having surgery Dec. 14th in hopes of completely ridding his body of cancer. Also for herself as she will be seeing her doctor on Dec. 17th to discuss removal of mesh and possible reversal. Is really needing some "normalcy" in her life.
Vivian requests prayers for the extra stress in her life.
Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers. This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!
OMG...getting ready for the big "snow" down here. It is SO funny to see how the schools are already jumping into panic mode. Not that it is unwarranted, but when I was a kid, schools never closed for 1-2" of snow! Maybe 1-2 FEET of it, but not inches. Of course, I am fully aware that it is a safety issue as the buses are not equipped to handle icy roads. The district sent out an email tonight letting us all know what safety measures are in place and that the district is officially in "condition/status orange". Orange? Really? I'd say more like WHITE!
Ok, gotta get the four legged kid to bed and then can start the "mommy" stuff. Oh man, Schnitzel is NOT going to want to go out in that stuff tomorrow!!!
Glad you and Mary are back and most importantly, had a great time!
I just laugh about the schools either closing or letting our early. My neighborhood is already panicking about how they are going to be able to pick up their kids today.
I know when I went to school, there hardly called off school and in fact when I was in Kindergarten, we were still in school with a Blizzard going and the kids whom lived out in the country had to go home with either a friend who lived in town or with the teachers. The kids weren't able to go home for about 4 days but I know my teacher made the best of it with the kids who went home with her.
Have a great day and be safe with all those crazy drivers!

"LIVE, LAUGH, & LOVE"
Where I grew up in Central Illinois, we lived out in the country so there were a lot of times that school might have been in session, but if the buses couldn't get out to us kids who were out in the rural areas, we just didn't go. It wasn't counted against us either, but then again, our district had like 15 snow days built into the school schedule and what didn't get used just whittled off days at the end of the school year. We had MANY times where we ended up with early dismissal for those on buses. Guess there was a slight advantage in the winter for us bus riders!!!
Hugs and blessings ~~ Vivian
