Good morning. I started the train and realized-DUH its work from home Wednesday. No need to get up early. So I went back to sleep for an hour. lol.
I hear this rumbling noise outside-guess its thundering. I'm glad I'm not driving to FW. I am however, going with Chris and other kids in a limo to lunch today! Thanks to some of you and other family, Chris won the limo ride because he sold more than 10 things of cookie dough. We are riding to Double Dave's pizza for lunch. Only 35 kids in the whole school won this prize. They're going in 3 different groups. They emailed Monday and asked for last minute volunteers so I signed up. I've never been in a limo before.
Michelle-glad you found someone to walk with-that's great. You might want to check into a mall or something where you can walk indoors since you'll be getting alot of that white cold stuff come Jan-Feb.
Faith- where have you been? Seems I haven't seen you post in a while.
Gaye-how is your recovery going?

Still looking for a location. I need to call this week and make appointments for when I am off over Christmas break. There are about 3-5 other spots that sound great but I just haven't had time to check them out.

Good morning. I have ARD's all day at the HS, then home to relax. Not too happy after reading about everyone going on the cruise. there's no way I can take off a whole week in Sept. from school. They make us ask and besides getting docked a whole week's pay, there's too much going on ARD meeting wise then for me to leave.

Hello all. It's been a couple of days since I've been on here. Yes...I admit I am a slacker.
I'm coming down with the crud again. It started yesterday and has gotten progressevly worse through the day and night. At least I don't seem to have the cough I did 2 weeks ago but I have ickky congestion, a very slight fever, aches and general malise. If the fever was higher I'd be worried but I think this is just another cold. A couple of my nurse friends said that all kinds of toxins and nasty stuff is stored in fat so the fact that I'm losing weight rapidly means I can expect stuff like this for a while. Joy!
Last night we headed to GNC...first of the month so if you have gold card that means discounts! They also told me at check out they are extending their discount period through the 10th of the month for December (ususally ends on the 7th).
Whohoo for the day....I'm down 39 pounds from surgery. That means I'm just 21 pounds away from my first "real" goal. Clint and I made a deal that when I lost a total of 60 pounds, he'd give up tobacco. I gave up smoking coming up on 4 years ago but he's still dipping. I can't believe I'm down almost 40 pounds in 7 weeks. I'm very proud of myself. There are days when I get bummed that food isn't 'fun' anymore.
Here is to hoping today goes quickly and I can come home to my sofa, my comfy blanket and a hot cup of tea.
