X-Post OT..Snow in Arlington TX
OK I know this is way off topic but it doesn't happen often here! I am at home recovering from my plastic surgery and I woke up this morning to find a winter wonderland!
YAY! I love snow and it doesn't happen often enough here for me! I have a couple of pics on my profile. They are of my back yard. One of the pool and the other is snow on my Sego Palm Tree!
I tried to put them in this thread but they are too big!

I am 5'4" tall
This is crazy. The news is calling for us to have snow flurries on Friday. It snows about once every 10 years here on the Gulf Coast and NEVER this early. It is usually in February. Last year it snowed right before Christmas and it stayed on the ground long enough for the kids (and big kids) to play in it!

Your pool is gorgeous! My boys are hoping for snow, mama not so much. Yes it's pretty but it's too cold, I hate cold weather.
The local weatherman was all excited this morning, even SW Louisiana might get snow before the week ends. Two years in a row would be crazy, in my 40+ years I've only seen snow locally 4 times.

My dear Mother had that put in for me after weight loss...and she passed away suddenly before it was finished. I have really enjoyed it and feel her presence out there often.
I hope snow is on the way to your home (for your boys). It has all melted and gone from here now. They say it is going to be in the 50's today????

I am 5'4" tall
When I got up at 5 this morning it was raining.... at 7:30 my daughter called yelling about a snow day.... I thought she was joking.... but the ground was covered and the roads were slush..... now it's raining and it's just about all gone..... but it's supposed to be down to 31 tonight, so unless it dries out soon we'll all have fun slipping and sliding into work tomorrow morning.... LOL

I'm waiting for the snow! I can count on one hand the times it's snowed and stay on the ground. They're saying we should get it in Houston Fridaynight/Sat. morning. That would be twice this year! I remember the snow on Jan 12....that was the evening I went to Dr. Garth's seminar and it was snowing when DH and I got out. I took it as a good luck omen! I really don't mind the cold as long as it's not wet at the same time.

Me me me!! I live in Lubbock! Yes, it was beautiful yesterday morning when it snowed. It was a very wet snow and was melted off by the time the kids got home from school. It was pretty while it lasted. It's 33 outside with a wind chill of 19 right now, and that's WITH the sun shining!!
How long ago were you in Lubbock? It's changing rapidly here. Good changes, of course!
