I just got a call from my Dr's office stating that my ins. approved my surgery. Now, I am getting cold feet. Worried that something could happen since it is an elective surgery. Did anyone else feel this way? Or, am I just crazy? I have been wanting this for so long and now the time is here I feel like I am being selfish.

Normal feelings Susan! Everyone is different but it will pass, then you will be on the ride of your life!!

it is the price of love.

Thank you guys. I appreciate your comforting words. It is nice to know that it is normal to feel this way. I have a feeling I will be needing all the support I can get. Please pray for peace during this process. I go to the Dr. Thursday to schedule my surgery. Possibly next Wed. or Dec. 21st. I feel the sooner the better since I am a worrier. Again, thank you guys for your support.

As the others have said -- it's normal! I was sooooo nervous! Scared! Had a "buyer's remorse!" It's all normal! It's an incredible journey and one you won't regret! All of us had our lives changed forever and for the better! Take lots of pictures before and at least one a month afterward, so you can document the changes...it's amazing!
My favorite phrase -- You CAN do it! You can do it! (well OK, ONE of them )
Hugs, Mari
