"Brother, Can You Spare A Supp.?" - B.A.'s RECOVER Program
Do you know a post-op who can't afford, their needed vitamin or mineral supps? Due to the bad economy, many post-ops now find themselves in a position of having a hard time coming up with the funds to purchase their required regular supplements.
To help those folks out, this is a great new program in which Bariatric Advantage is giving away $20K in supps. to "needy" post-ops. To apply for assistance, the patient's surgeon (or some other bariatric surgeon) must fill out the following form and submit it to B.A. on behalf of the patient:

Kudos, too, to the Obesity Action Coalition for working with B.A. to set up this program .. O.A.C.'s goal is to provide a total of $100K in supps to needy post-ops in the next year.

So sorry to hear of that .. it sounds rough .. Have you placed a request for prayer on the "Nigh****chman" thread of the TMB?
I've always wondered whether the state should have some system set up so that, in the event someone who is ordered to pay child support is later incarcerated, the state goes ahead and continues payment of same to the payee. Upon release, the offender would then pay the state back for the money it paid out during their incarceration on the payor's behalf, as a condition of their probation, parole, or final release, whichever is the case.
Keep the faith, and hang in there .. (good luck on your surgery on Thursday, btw)
