Woohoo for my sister!!!
She has agreed to take the kids to Plano, Ive spoken with the administration at school and they are gathering the boy's school work and they will let my sister home school them Thursday and Friday......
We still have the details to work out, its closer for her to drive to Tyler to get the kids, shaves an hour off her drive time....but then the kids would have to get up at 2 am to go and wait at the hospital for her to get there after she drives her bunch to school....
Anyway It looks fesible at this point.....

i was so glad she offered...i was afraid i was gonna be the only one on OH without one...I have collected several cell phone numbers for DH to text updates too...

Do your kids have any friends that you know their parents? Maybe they could stay one night with them until you get home and then just carpool for a few days until you can drive them yourself. I had to ask a friend to watch my daughter the night before I had surgery. My mom doesn't drive and my dad was taking me to the hospital so I had no choice but to ask a friend for help.
Just try and relax. I'm sure it will all work out for you. Keep us posted. And maybe it's best that your ex isn'****ching the boys. Who knows this could have happened while he had them Maybe it's God's hand at work. He will bring you through this.

The Ex told me two weeks ago that he had not drank in 4 days, the boys went to his house a couple of weekends ago and said there was no beer in the fridge and that dad had not drank...
My DH said give it a weekend that he doesnt have the boys and then we will see...lo and behold he got arrested...I knew it was just a matter of time....Im with you on good thing the boys werent with him....
His boss popped off and said "he just cant handle being alone"....hello we were married 20 years and he did the same thing...i said back to him "he couldnt handle being a family either"
He made me feel like it was my fault for leaving him....pfft....whatever!!!

Good for you, although it is nice that his boss is trying to stick wtih him...but in my eyes, there is no excuse for drinking and driving, period, nada, never!
I didn't have an angel (on the board anyways). My ex-boss was my IRL angel though. She encouraged me and came to visit me in the hospital. I still have the text message she sent me that "I promise, it will get better!"....Can't leave out my best friend that came to see me too....
I am more than happy to be your Angel and if I lived in Tyler, I would help with the kids too, heaven help them! lol....It is going to happen, everything is going to work out and you will be on the bench before you know it.
