Someone is tugging at my rug!!!

Twice now the rug has been pulled out from under me to have my surgery....It is in 2 days...
please dont let there be a third...


.my ex-husband is supposed to take care of the boys for me....

I have been trying for 3 days to reach him.....i called his boss this morning and he  told me his is in jail......for running a stop sign, DWI, no ins, bogus tags ( he was riding with tags from a cadillac on a ford truck), suspended license and failure to register a vehicle.....can you see why he is EX now.....

I am working on getting my sister to come 2 1/2 hours away to stay with them....she has school aged children that she will hafta leave, but her husband can help her.....

Sad thing is my mom and dad live across town, but the are so lazy they wont take my kids to school, my 9 y/o just came home with a gold $1 coin for perfect attendance....

Im a wreck!!!!!!!

One of my friends who had a revision said nothing but death should keep me from my surgery....now im spooked......lol

You know, sweetie.......  there comes a time when you just have to bow up and decide a healthier you is more important than all these details and this is going to happen NO MATTER WHAT.

I know it is your kids involved - but look at the big picture.  A year from now when you have lost all your weight and you are much healthier is it *really* going to matter if your sons don't have perfect attendance and miss a couple of days of school?  If you have to - take them to your sister's for a 3 day "vacation".

And you really think they make such a big deal about perfect attendance because they are concerned about your child's education?  Uh... no.  It is about the money they lose from the state when your child isn't there.  Kids miss school all the time when they get sick and make up the work - no big deal!

Thanks for making me take a step back and look at the big picture.....i thank you for the smack in the back of the head....

Hey - I know where you are coming from.  You are talking to the one who did a face plant on the concrete in front of Methodist Hospital the morning of my surgery!  I wasn't nervous or freaking out.... NOOOO............ 

Oh yea, I forgot about that.....we can laugh about that now....and soon i will be laughing at all of this, with my skinny self.....

I read that on FB too and thought it was a VERY poor choice of words.  You're gonna be fine and it will all work out in the end.   Sounds like your sister is at least willing to help. So sorry that your parents aren't more supportive BUT WE'RE here for emotional support.  Hang in there and keep us posted.  You'll be sipping and walking before you know it.

Tara.....take a DEEP BREATHE !!!!!   Now...don't you feel better???   Hey isn't that the way things always are???  Sucks huh???  Well...it IS going to happen for you this time.   Trust me !!!!   You will get your surgery in a few days and then you will wonder what all the uproar is about.    If you are a Christian...Pray to GOD now that he will remove all the doubt and stop satan from attacking your peace.   Ask God to give you that peace that only he can in  a situation that makes you crazy and he will do that for you.   I will keep you in my prayers.   I just know that everything is going to work out this time !!!  Just relax !!!!   Love ya it is going to be OK !!!
