Are you getting enough Protein?
I start last week drinking a protein drink in the morning before I work out and go work out. I've got to tell you it seems to be making a difference. Not that I don't always now have tons of energy since my WLS and losing 125 lbs, it just seem like I feel better, and don't crave trash foods (as much).
I bought a big bag at Sam's and I drink it with water and a touch of Crystal Light on a small amount of ice. What do you use?

I use the EAS from Sams - same big purple bag you probably got - chocolate is great in coffee too but I mostly do the vanilla

I found something that works well with me, and I've had difficulty with protein supplements in general since my surgery. GNC makes a house brand of 100% Whey Protein powder and it's on sale too. I get the unflavored brand and mix it with my coffee in the morning. It blends well with no clumping and actually adds a slight froth to the top like I'm having a cappuccino. I use a powdered Coffee-Mate of Parisian Almond Creme, splenda and sweet 'n low. 21 grams of protein for having a delicious cup of joe in the morning.
When I do protein shakes I have several brands and flavors that I love. I use IDS cinnamon vanilla and I use it as a coffee creamer. It mixes well with hot things too, I use the brand that Walmart has in chocolate and then I use Gold Standard found at Smoothie King in Vanilla Ice Cream flavor....it is yummy and you can add fruit or yogurt to it with ice and milk and blend into a delicious shake.

I shoot for about 100 gm protein every day - some days I make it some days I don't.
I start every day with GNC protein in my morning coffee and cottage chesse for breakfast. I usually have a protein snack like cheese sticks in the afternoon and if I have time to make an afternoon shake then I definitely get my 100 gms in.
I am faithful to the "protein first" rule at meals and so far I have been able to maintain my weight loss w/o any bounce back or weight gain.
