TMB Carnival Cruise in September???

Yeah my vacation time is great... but times like this I wish my time off was more flexible!!!  Not the first vacation I've missed out on and won't be the last unfortunately!!!  You all are going to have a fabulous time!

Ok, I just checked, and you can get 4 in a room.  I checked on 9/13 and put in 4 in the number of guests travelling, and it gave a price of $309 for the first two and $149 for the 3rd and 4th.  It is tight with 4 in a room, the other two beds hang from the ceiling.  We take our son, and he sleeps in one of the upper bunks.  You arent in the room much anyway, and it doesnt bother us.  If you were to spread the savings over all 4 occupants, that would be $229 each, plus taxes and fees as well as gratuity.  That is $10 per person per day on Carnival.  That makes it a total minimum cost for the cruise of $316.87 each with 4 in a room. 

With 2 in a room, it's 396.87. 

I wish I could go but I promised Hubby this next one in March would be our last for 5 years.  He bought me a very nice brand spankin new car.  You guys will have loads of fun!!  

OK.....I have the passport, money and would love to go. Only thing I will have to do is take off work and pray that the "Schulenberg Curse" is not active during that time lol This would be sooooooo much fun! I would need a roomie cause I'm sure hubby would not want to go. Smart going thru travel agent or directly thru cruise line. I bought one of those "promotion cruises" last year had to eat it cause never any days available going out of Galveston.

YEAH -   speaking of bonus -  my company started giving us bonuses about 2 yrs ago - I think they come through in april..............ummmmmmmmmm    I don't expect as large of one like the year before last  $2500......but last years was $850..................I'm hoping for about $300 this year - less taxes of course...........but that would be at least $175 - $150...........um.........that will work -  I'm 1/3 of the way there...........


GO BONUSES...................NO EATING OUT !!        AS DAVE RAMSEY SAYS...........

RICE & BEANS -  BEANS & RICE.................what that means is  - no eating out.............buy groceries -  eat and stay at home........................ 

Steph - don't have time to read all the way though this wonderful thread :) however if no one else has a prefernce I wouldlove it if we can take the second date - that is my week off between classes !!! I could go and not have to justify taking time off school

if the other date works for most peeps than I wil lmake it work

This sounds like so much fun, put me down for one, either date is fine with me because I will be a retired lady by then. I will also need a roommate. I know my picture is not up(don't know how to do it) but I am always at the dinners and barbeques and convention this year. I also have a new suv that will carry 4 with lots of luggage room.

Bill is so adamant about no cruises, but I think he has really lightened up after hearing several friends talk about it!!! Next year is our 29th anniversary, so that could be it's celebration! I'll work on him in the meanwhile, but like Gina said, all about the $$$$$ and when they are due!!!!

Put us down tentatively for 2! The more Crazy Fun Peeps the better!!!!!
