NIGH****CHMAN - Weekend Edition 28/29th
Evenin' everyone! C-R-A-Z-Y busy day, especially this afternoon! Sarah had a soccer game so unfortunately that meant I couldn't go to watch the Katy Tigers beat the LaPorte Bulldogs 37-3 in high school football! Paul and the two older girls went and said it was nuts there. No one sat for pretty much the entire game! Heard it was a sea of RED. Their colors are red and white so naturally we've all acquired a lot of red attire the past few years! Sarah's game was good though - she scored her first goal of the season! YIPPEE!!! Of course, the ONE game her daddy misses to go to the game with the other two girls is the one she gets her goal at! Oh well...we'll hope for more.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! It is supposed to turn cold and yucko here before too long. I was hoping to get the outside lights on but we didn't. If the weather doesn't get too cold, Paul will probably try to get a lot of it up tomorrow. He took off Monday and Tuesday, too, so depending on the weather, he may be able to get more done then.
I read on the Express this morning that our friend David W.'s (aka Trainman) father passed away so we definitely want to keep him and his family in our thoughts as they cope with their loss.
Stop by and say "hi" as we hold up the fort for George this week!

Glad you had a great drive back with your daughter. OH, and, on your dinner - I'd freeze it in small portions for yourself so you don't get sick of eating it! No need to eat the SAME thing all week. I've already informed hubby that I will NOT be keeping Thanksgiving leftovers for much longer. I'm ALREADY sick of turkey. I don't do that well with turkey anyway. I can only eat a very small amount and it cannot be anything but the dark meat. The white meat tends to get stuck, no matter how tiny of a bite I take. BLECH! Hubby always says to freeze it. UGH (rolling my eyes)...ok, so let me freeze it and then throw it out later on. No one wants it!!! I absolutely HATE making those "traditional" meals on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter because I'm so sick of leftovers before I even cook it! I sometimes want to just send Paul home to his mommy on those days so he can eat his traditional multi-round meals there so I wouldn't have to mess with it. I will probably do what I usually do...after he goes to work, slowly toss some of the leftovers out without being too obvious. Problem this week is he is off both tomorrow and Tuesday so I'll have to do some tossing after he is outta here come Wednesday!
Better get moving. My oldest brought down her laundy just a bit ago and has to have at least the dark stuff done by tomorrow. Nothing like being brought laundry to do at 10:30 pm! Grrr....
Hope you have a great upcoming week!
