Okay...we probably all ate stuff we didn't need to yesterday...I know I did but it wasn't horrible or anything.  I did hike across the A & M campus and up the ramp into the skies to my seat and all the way back across campus so that probably helped.  I just drank all morning...2 protein drinks and then ate my fish, okra and dressing at lunch but only polished off the 1/2 piece of fish.  Lots of okra and most of Luby's dressing still on the plate.

Snacked starting about 2:30 for the rest of the day but did have protein snacks w/ the carb part!

Today's plan:
protein coffee being downed
lots of liquids
Click drink
McD's sf iced coffee
bbq for lunch
don't know for dinner

What's your plan?

hey yall!
Cracked up at Steph's post yest!! i cooked a few things since mom is here. Just her favs so we didnt have a ton of stuff. Tasted too much while i was cooking and pouchy let me know about it later!!!  Ate too much in general, but it wasnt horrid once i wrote it all down and its once a year..and lord knows its NOTHING even near what i woulda done pre op!!! 
So today's a new day and back on track!!!
Already had a ton of CL as i have been up since 230. WTF and no it wasnt to go shopping lol. 
had some of Bryan's roast for protein first thing, so i figure im doing pretty good so far!
Lots of protein here so concentrating on that today.

oh.. mom commented at lunch that 'Liz, havent you learned by now? look at you, done eating with still 1/2 on your plate' lol.

Yesterday was yesterday, moving on from there.  Actually the meal itself was fine, I used a small salad plate so that helped me feel like I was eating a lot like everyone else.  The pre and post meal not so great.  Too many little snacks around, and not enough of it was protein.  I heard the little voice telling me to stop and move away from the snacks many times and ignored it every time. 

Moving on today:

Protein coffee
Egg beaters with turkey ham, mushrooms, red peppers & cheese
Leftover turkey breast & mashed sweet potatoes
Cottage cheese w/ salsa
Turkey pastrami & cheese roll ups
Chili & mashed sweet potatoes
Apple

I'm pushing lots of water today. I didn't get near enough yesterday and in combination with way more carbs than usual I'm up 3.5lbs.  It'll come off though so I'm not worried about it.  Almost have my first 32oz down and I'm going to try for at least 5-6 of those today.

I'm proud of myself, I didn't over eat, no discomfort AT ALL yesterday.  Since I've done often several times lately (overate) I felt super proud to not do it with all the food yesterday.  Didn't even bring any leftovers home.....kinda bummed about it this morning cuz I want some turkey, lol.  It just wasn't the way my mom or I  make it so it was ok but not fabulous.  Thank goodness I left the S/F Pumpkin pie at MILs cuz I WOULDA done damage with that last night, it was super yummy.

I actually want to weigh and see where I'm at, it's been almost 2 weeks since I weighed officially (I jumped on the scale Wed mid-day and it was POSITIVE!).

What I ate wasn't good but I didn't go overboard. I certainly could instantly feel the carb craving and munching going on.  But the damage is done and i'm up a few pounds again. (I was NOT going to bring my scale to Mom's but when I got here my MOM had taken the scale I had in my goodwill pile and brought it home!)

Today is back at it.  No leftovers to worry about because we were at others for both meals yesterday.

Let the flaming begin, lol!!  Nope, I wasn't good BUT remember I'm in maintanence and not actively trying to lose weight.  My biggest problem was snacking and grazing.  The actual meal was fine, portions were good and selection was fine.  It was those 3 stinking pies (full sugar) that we had.  My daughter brought home  pecan and pumpkin pies from the restaurant she works at and let me tell you~they were to die for.  So a tiny sliver here and another one there probably added up over the course of the day.  Oh well, protein drink is defrosting and we have lots of leftover turkey for later.

Well due to my Black Friday shopping frenzy... I just had a bowl of chili for lunch.   And if I remember right Karla said in a previous post that anything consumed between midnight and 5am was free.... so that peppermint mocha latte at 2am from Starbucks doesn't count!!!!

Yesterday was pretty good... and hopefully today will be the same!

Yesterday was..... yesterday :)

Not too bad, but could have been better....

Today however, I've been up since 3:40 and shopping since 4:20; walked my toosh off...  Heading to the gym in an hour to do cardio and some light weights.  Will be the first time in nearly 4 weeks thanks to the pulled back muscle.....

Anyhoo - today pretty good, had some eggs for breakfast, Skinny Vanillia Latte at 5:30, lunch around noon (leftover, but nothing bad)

Tonight - probably some leftover Chili Verde I made the other day.

Tomorrow, tracking plan begins again.

Traveling this week for business and may not be on much.
