Fabulus Friday WLS Express
Good Morning to my TMB Family,
Happy Fabulous Friday! I hope everyone is doing well and survived thanksgiving without to much problem. (scale this morning said I gained a pound yeserday) We had a wonderful day. It was nice to have all my family around. My gradson gets cuter every time I see him. It took him a little bit to warm up to us but after that it has been great. When we sat down to eat yesterday, he was not to interesed in the food as he had spotted the park in our back yard. Got him to eat a little and then I ate a little and took him outside while everyone else finished eating. He was one happy camper. Tim was not feeling all that great after we ate. He said it because he was tired and that would not suprise me as he worked most of night Wednesday night slept about 3 hours and then headed here. Today is a new day though. We dont have any plans today at all. It looks like it is going to rain most of the day so a good day to stay in and watch movies. Ok guess that is it. I need more coffee. Prayers this morning for those in need. Gina so glad you and Richard are home. Eric and jenny, Viv and her family you are all in my prayer as well. I am sure it scared you both. I will continue to keep you lifed up. Prayers for all the unspoken as well. Have a blessed day. Love you guys
I had a great time with my family and friends yesterday. I didn't over eat...I had my piece of turkey and 3 tablespoons of sides on a saucer. But oh MY all that rich food made me so sleepy. I crawled into bed at 6:30 and slept all the way through the night.
I'm having second thoughts about trying to donate blood today. I feel so guilty calling and cancelling but I'm just concerned now that its too soon. :( I'm really thankful for the advice everyone gave. Perspective is an important thing!
WIshing everyone a happy long weekend!
If anyone wants to meet up for lunch today text or reply here and I'll give you a buzz. We will have to eat out somewhere so might as well try to meet with some of our chosen family.
Yesterday I did okay on food. We then went to see Planet 51 at 5pm. That was fun.
Tonight we are going to ride The Polar Express- aka the Tarantula Train in Grapevine. We've never been on the train. Chris rode with Brandi and the kids 1 1/2 years ago. I'm excited. Should be neat!
I am so glad Richard is home- Gina try to keep him resting for a while! Do you have to work today? Call if you need us to come sit on him. lol.
Jenny- I hope your Thanksgiving was a great one with your family. Prayers continue for Eric.
Danni- I am sure it was hard yesterday without Tim but I sure hope you had a good day. I loved the picture of Rachel in the park! She's getting so big.
Michelle- I'm glad you had fun with your family.
I hope Kathy and Jodi had fun hunting.
Have a great day!
WOOOOOHOOOO for FRIDAY, it's a no work, no shopping, no nothing I don't want to do day!!!! LOL
I had a great time yesterday at my son's all day, cooking and playing Skip-Bo watching football and EATING... LOL Probably snacked too much but I know my pouch is working cause there was no seconds or thirds like there would have been before WLS....
Prayers and praise is going up now for all who need it!
Here's Bruce Springsteen's Blinded by the Light to get us up and going this morning!
Madman drummers bummers and Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin' kinda older I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasing sneezing and wheezing the calliope crashed to the ground
Some all-hot half-shot was headin' for the hot spot snappin' his fingers clappin' his hands,
And some fleshpot mascot was tied into a lover's knot with a whatnot in her hand
And now young Scott with a slingshot finally found a tender spot and throws his lover in the sand
And some bloodshot forget-me-not whispers daddy's within earshot save the buckshot turn up the band
And she was blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
She got down but she never got tight, but she'll make it alright
Some brimstone baritone anti-cyclone rolling stone preacher from the east
He says, "Dethrone the dictaphone, hit it in its funny bone, that's where they expect it least."
And some new-mown chaperone was standin' in the corner all alone watchin' the young girls dance
And some fresh-sown moonstone was messin' with his frozen zone to remind him of the feeling of romance
Yeah he was blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
He got down but he never got tight, but he's gonna make it tonight
Some silicone sister with her manager's mister told me I got what it takes
She said I'll turn you on sonny, to something strong if you play that song with the funky break,
And go-cart Mozart was checkin' out the weather chart to see if it was safe to go outside
And little Early-Pearly came by in her curly-wurly and asked me if I needed a ride.
Oh, some hazard from Harvard was skunked on beer playin' backyard bombardier
Yes and Scotland Yard was trying hard, they sent some dude with a calling card, he said, Do what you like, but don't do it here.
Well, I jumped up, turned around, spit in the air, fell on the ground
Asked him which was the way back home
He said take a right at the light, keep goin' straight until night, and then, boy, you're on your own.
And now in Zanzibar a shootin' star was ridin' in a side car hummin' a lunar tune
Yes, and the avatar said blow the bar but first remove the cookie jar we're gonna teach those boys to laugh too soon.
And some kidnapped handicap was complainin' that he caught the clap from some mousetrap he bought last night,
Well I unsnapped his skull cap and between his ears I saw
a gap but figured he'd be all right
He was just blinded by the light
Cut loose like a deuce another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
Mama always told me not to look into the sights of the sun
Oh but mama that's where the fun is
Ya'll have a great day my friends!

I'm not sure why I feel so exhausted the achy the past several days, not sure what turned things around from feeling good, just tired, to feeling some pain in the tummy area. I took my pain meds last night but they just wipe me out even the next day so today will be another lazy day.
Cutter came in from playing yesterday afternoon with a headache and sore throat and running a fever. My baby is sleeping this morning, he was supose to go deer hunting with Daddy but didn't. I hope it's not the flu and just because he thinks "no shoes" are standard and the cold weather has caused him a cold/sore throat. My boys hate shoes, lol.
I'm calling my house cleaner today to let her go, as much as I need her right now I've been really disappointed in what they have done (or not done to my satisifaction) the past couple of times and it's not worth spending the money on.....especially since Christmas is here and money will be tight anyway. DH promises to help right now and after the new year I'll look for someone else.
Hope you all have a great Friday, no shopping for me.....we IRL I'm about to hit the internet, lol.
Hugs,

I'm working today, so I'm just waiting for my computer to boot up and then I'll hit the projects again. Most of my vendors are closed today, so I'll either get a whole lot done or not much at all. Either way I get paid so I'm happy. Jeff is off work today and is going down to a radio event for KLIF. Not sure what we're doing tonight, but I might suggest another board game night.
No big plans this weekend. If the weather is nice tomorrow we might take the dogs out to the park for a while. They love running around with the other little dogs and they don't get much exercise here at home. I was super excited to see some Christmas lights out on the way home last night. I love going around looking at lights! I'd like to find some good neighborhoods to go look at lights this year, so I need to start doing some research. I don't mind waiting in traffic to see them, as long as there is good Christmas music playing.
Off to work now, hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning. Had a rather diasppointing Thanksgiving yesterday. Clay went to his family Thanksgiving to "visit" while I stayed here and cooked all day long. Hailey worked from 10-4. Well he got home about 5:00 and informed us that he already ate and wasn't hungry. So his spot at the table remained empty while Hailey, Jodie and I ate the dinner I slaved over all day long. Talk about pissed-the least he could of done was sit with us at the table. Plus some of the food I cooked was specifically for him. It was a lot of work for me and I felt very unappreciated. Thankfully Hailey and Jodie loved my cooking and were both helpful as far as cleaning up afterward. Mr Clay however is in the doghouse~I swear he had no clue that he did anything wrong!!!
Oh well, on to today...I bought what I needed online yesterday so no early bird shopping here. In reality there wasn't anything that was worth going out at 3 am for in my opinion. My thrift store is running a 1/2 price sale today~I might actaully go there to look for stuff. Hailey needs some sweaters and lord knows I always NEED something.
Have a super day and if anyone wants to get together this weekend give a shout. We have no plans.
