SUPER Saturday WLS Express

Hope you have a FAAABULOUS time!  We did that cruise from there about a year and a half ago.  They actually DO have an internet station there on the boat!  Of course that's extra but a lot of people bought a short amount of "air time" so they could at least check in with family while they were on the cruise.  My cell phone worked after we undocked for about 40-45 min. from the time we left port.  Guess that's how far the signal reached!  Just be sure to bring on your own bottled water.  If you do any outside excursions, they will warn you to buy some on the boat to take with you.  We brought a case of water which was great.  I also brought soda for the girls as I absolutely REFUSED to pay $25 each for them to have unlimited soda!  They don't need that much anyway!!!

I headed out about 8 to walmart yesterday - armed with a protien shake in hand to drink on the way, 2 fiber bars in my jeans, a litter of water and a giant shopping bag for carrying the little stuff planning to park across the street at Lowes -found a close parking spot on my first try and a cart on my way in the door, did not wait to check out at all and did 2 full laps around all the store and got everything I wanted

ok off to walk the dog and toddler LOL

Why am i up so damn early?? lol.  Well mom decided to head back home today, she's got a short work assignment for a friend on monday and wants to beat the traffic tomorrow. Been fun but well ya know lol.  After she heads out im gonna just lay around and watch Tv.. ya right yall know me better than that lol But im sure i will find something to do. Been fun with all the fur kids, time to parcel some of them back to their houses, that will be nice :)

Good morning.  We're back at home from Aggieland.  It was a good and fun trip.  I am doing laundry and will go at least see my mom today.  My stepfather left Thanksgiving afternoon to go to Rocksprings hunting and left her alone with all of us out of town.   Ben's still conked out and Ross is needing to go visit his mom, but is in Den watching TV instead.  Why when I am off am I not allowed to sit around doing nothing?  I asked about cutting down a dead tree in the back yard and was told he knew it was dead but it might hit a power line if he cut it.  I said no problem...we'll just leave it until I'm home alone and it falls and knocks out the electricity.  Men...sometimes they need to be knocked upside the head!  What good is a man if they can't pull out one of their MANY chainsaws and cut down a rotten tree.  I could probably push the dang thing over with my body if I worked hard at it!

Okay...done ranting and raving!

Maybe THIS story will help motivate your husband to cut down that tree!

A few weeks ago we had half a tree break off from my neighbor's tree and fall into our yard right on the power line.  Thankfully, it didn't break and a couple of days later the power company came out and cut if off the wire and inspected everything and said we were ok.

Well, 2 weeks later the OTHER half of the tree fell over into the neighbor's power line and they weren't so lucky - it broke the power line and caught the tree on fire!  The tree had fallen onto the roof of their shed so it burned also.  The fire department stood by and watched the fire and sparks because they couldn't do anything until the power company turned the power off - and it took them over an hour to come out.

Now.... speaking of husbands....... mine cleared away just enough so I can get the wheelbarrow through to inspect my bees (I use the  wheelbarrow to carry my stuff) and the rest of the tree is just sitting there.... grrrr.....

Good morning TMB!!!  I think I am finally caught up on my sleep after my Black Friday shopping frenzy!!  But we got everything we were on the hunt for and now I don't have to worry about getting an "I'm sorry the  item you ordered has been back ordered" email from Target like I did last year!!  Those things ended up being birthday presents in January.  Ran into a friend while I was in the checkout like at Target and she had no clue who I was...  she said if I hadn't waved at her and spoke she wouldn't have known it was me... it was great to see her but I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea that I look different. 

My big woo hoo is while at the outlet mall we went into Coldwater Creek who was having a 40% off sale with an additional 15% off... so I had to get something!!!!  I actually thought I would get a pair of jeans a size smaller.... my wishful thinking for after LBL!!  So I thought I had better try them on to see if I could even pull them up.... Baby I got those damn jeans buttoned and zipped!!!!  A freakin size 8!!!!!!   I don't ever remember wearing a size 8!!!!!  So yes I bought them!

Going to do a photo shoot for Donna and family this morning then while I have the camera set up I'm going to have her take one of me and my family.  I don't have a family picture of all 4 of us.... so I told myself I had to do that this year!!!!!  I'm so excited to do this!!

The rest of the weekend will be getting out all the holiday decorations... honestly if it weren't for the kids I could do without this, this year!!!!

Woohoo Paige, congrats on the 8s.  This made me smile really BIG this morning, soo happy for you!

Well I didn't get enough turkey at my in-laws for Turkey Day so I have one cooking in the roaster right now.  I'm going to roast some taters and carrots with it later on.  Whatever is left over, and I'm sure there will be will make great snacks when I go back to work!

I'm VERY pleased overall with my eating, I didn't overeat this week.  I did eat some fig perserves and peanut butter last night that kinda made me sick blech.  No more fig perserves, lol.  I've been dealing with the nighttime muchies though, I eat more at night then I do the entire day.....gotta work on that one some more.....it's when I want sweets :(, anyone else dealing with night eating?  How are you dealing with it?  Just curious WHY that is the time I want crap.

Conner's birthday is Wednesday, my first born is getting in the double digits (10), WOW time flies!  We are giving him a small, at-home birthday party today.  Nothing big, cookie cake and juices and about 8 little boys; 2 will be spending the night here.

No Black Friday shopping for us!  I need to start online shopping today sometimes since I think we've now figured out what the boys will get for Christmas; and Santa as they both still believe.  I think this will probably be the last year, they have made a couple of comments.....of course, our standard comment back is no believe, no surprises, lol.

Dana, my adult child still believeLOL - The rule at our house was as long as you believe, Santa know and will bring you presents. Just hope that I can pull it off with my grandkids tooo. I love innocents! (sp)
