OT: Do you partcipate in any holiday charities?

My Sunday School class gets a family of children to give to our local "Empty Stocking Fund" and we have a grandmother w/ 3 children she's raising because the parent died.  I have already started with my part of the list.  We buy clothes, underwear, socks, and toys/gifts on their wish list that they ask for.  I still need to find a reasonably priced bike for a 10 or 12 yr. old boy.

My office usually does the same thing for the same program but we're giving to a military gifting organization which is a great thing too.  some of the ladies in the office said that the kids in our adopted family got more stuff than her own kids.  I say get a life!

Giving to others is great.  I love it and have tried to pass it on to Ben.
