We're Home-Tired, but THANKFUL !!

Happy Thanksgiving, my FAMILY of choice !!! What a gorgeous day this has been!!! Richard was released form the hospital this afternoon. We went straight from the hospital to my sister's house for lunch and the Cowboy game. Now we're home, and ready to PASS OUT....

It'll take me awhile to catch up on everything and everyone. It was WAY weird being away from a computer for 3 days...I will NEVER be able to thank y'all enough for all the thoughts, prayers, calls and texts...I was scared and about to lose my mind. Richard hasn't been to the doctor in 20 years (seriously), and he just looked SO bad...It was awful....But he's way better now...Almost TOO much like his old self--today when someone asked him "Are you allergic to anything?", he said "Well-apparently the arsenic Gina has been slipping to me"..typical Richard remark...

Special thanks to GAYE & STEVE and TRACEY & DIRK, who came every day and kept ME fed, caffenated and supported. They also helped me update y'all, which I was not able to do. Thank you, DANA, for sending out the initial prayer chain-it sure worked!!

The final "diagnosis" was really bad flu, resulting in severe dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, etc. The "chest pains" were most likely esophageal bleeding/irritation from the intense vomiting. He has to take "ulcer" medicine for awhile, along with more antibiotics. He's not feeling 100%, but he's almost as human as he ever was..

Again, I just want to reinterate a big THANK YOU to Y'ALL !!
