Update on Gina's Richard
Really nothing new to report- they are keeping him comfortable, administering fluids via I.V. and doing more tests. His white blood cell count is a little high which indicates infection somewhere. The infection could be viral or bacterial but they aren't sure on it either. Last night they had a bag of Levaquin in his I.V. (an antibiotic). He is attached to a heart monitor, so it is being recorded.
He keeps saying that his pain level is a "3" but he keeps flinching and such in his sleep. We all think he's trying to be a "tough guy" but he refuses to admit to a higher pain level. Boys!
I'll keep you all posted if I hear anything else. I am taking dinner over to Gina later to check on her.
Please keep them in your prayers!
Tracey

He needs to tell them an 8, at least he'll get good meds and sleep.
Hope things improve every moment. I talked to Gina earlier, she sounded well but I can tell she is tired. Pass her an Ambien or something in her dinner.
Prayers continue. Tracey, Loralea sent me a text earlier and I gave her the info Gina told me.....since you are there and may get updates sooner would you please keep her in the loop?
